Call was transferred to me by one of my subordinates.  Caller claimed to be calling on behalf of Microsoft.  Wanted to know IT Director's information (phone email mailing address) etc.

I asked who she worked for, she said "RainMaker, a call center".  I asked what the purpose of the call was, she said to collect *updated* information.

I asked her to take us off her call-list; she said "Yes, thank you sir".

Not 30 seconds later, she calls back into the office and gets the same guy who transferred her to me originally and tries to pump him for the information.  When he attempts to transfer her to me again, she protests and hangs up as I am picking up the call.

I am from Malaysia, just now also get this miss call.. i didn't pick up, cause user are having conservation with me...

after a few research i found out that this number belongs to SCAMMERS! they claim to be from an insurance company affiliated with a certain bank (BDO or Citibank) then they will ask for your CREDIT CARD.

they also use this landline number: 719-3840

Seems legit,  actually got a policy from them,  I'm paying P800 a month for health benefits,  but I haven't tried using it,  for I haven't been sick lately...But iit's strange that the same procedure of squeezing info is exactly the same,  it made me wonder.  I won't know if I don't cash in.

i got the same call today. A nasally guy was looking for me but I asked him who he is first. Then he said "Ah ok sir. So... {hangs up}.

Same number called in my mobile phone when i answered no one speaks just simply  hang the call and put down. Its strange!
