This number called and an Indian woman with a very thick accent said she was "calling about your computer" .. which I promptly recognized as a scam as nobody would be calling me about my computer.  I immediately said "No you're not, take me off your calling list" and the caller hung up on me.  I tried to call the number back and it tells me the number is no longer in service.

This number called me and said it was about my computer that things have stopped on my windows and it would cost me 150.00 for 6 months of serviice to keep things off my windows because it was out of date. so they went in remote on my pc and made it run faster and without errors. I paid with my debit card.

Indian man claiming to be from tech support and calling to help me fix errors on my computer. I do not subscribe to any tech support services and I am not having any issue with any of our computers. I'm sure this is some sort of scam. Told him  I wasn't interested and to remove us from their calling list. He started arguing with me and insisting that it was important for me to let them correct these supposed errors. This was the second call I've received from these people so out of frustration, I let loose with a string of profanities that would make a sailor blush and hung up on him.

You've been scammed. Call the number back. You'll get a recording saying "lines are temporarily busy". This is not a legitimate company. I would call your bank and cancel your debit card immediately and see if you can stop that $150 payment.

I just got a call from this number and the message left was "hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, she said my first name and a few more hellos" and eventually hung up.  I might answer next time and ask her what computer since I don't have one not sure why you would be calling or maybe mess with them some how hmmmm.  No accent unless Baltimore MD is an accent.

Just got a call from that number and same as all above..... female thick Indian accent.  Said she was calling abut my computer.  I asked repeatedly how she got my name, and claimed some affiliation with Microsoft. She knew my first and last name.  Told her I was on the do not call list and she said so what?  I was going along with it for a while in awe of how brazen this scam was and eventually she hung up.

I notice all above posts are within the last few hours.... thanks to Google hopefully others see this.  Please be careful folks and never give out any personal info!!!

Just got a call from a guy with a heavy Indian accent. Like the others said he was tech support and calling about my computer. I asked him which computer and he said the one that is at this address. I told him we have 6 in the house so which computer and he said it was regarding any computers running windows and connected to the internet. I asked him what the problem was and he said there was a problem with computers using Century Link as their ISP. I told him we switched ISP's a few months ago and no longer Century Link and then he changed his story and said any ISP. I was going along with him and he asked me to open my Run dialog box and type something in, then I asked him if my husband could call them since he would be home in a few minutes and he is a computer tech guy. He gave me a phony phone number (I called it back later and it said number not in service). I asked him what the name of his company was and he stopped speaking. I could tell he was still on the line as I could hear other call center people talking in the background. I stayed on the phone for about 3 minutes and then got disconnected.
