Called several times.  Comes up as larry lamb on caller id.  Guy asked for a name that I did not know. I explained to this pos that I didn't know who it was and he actually told me I was lying. He said he will send someone by the house. I am a lifetime member of NRA and prominently display it on my front door.

If the guy was more professional he might actually have some luck, but the way he acts just makes people not want to work with the guy.  He's actually hurting his own cause.

A person who goes by the name Larry Lamb, I would like to know his real name, breaks every New York State lae concerning collection practices. He works for a company called Arista Air Conditioning Company, and their tactis are predatory, and despite trying to make arrangements to pay, they give you an ultimatium of one hour. This type of a "shaedown" does not bode well for Arista Air Conditioning Company, and perhaps they should find new representation.

Here is the company you are referring to that continues to threaten me and my ex employees, they have acted as Debt collectors, Attorney’s, Private Investigator’s, and have now threatened me with criminal charges if I fail to pay them, which I believe is some form of extortion.  I do not owe this company any money or the company they are claiming to represent.  I’m sure they are breaking all kinds of debt collection practices and are in violation of the law. When I asked him for the name of his firm and where they were located he hung up on me. I don’t know if I can file a complaint with the bar in the area they are claiming to practice law. This company has several complaints online and the firms they are inquiring about have been closed  and out of business for many years.

Here is who, I have been contacted by so far:

Allen Ross: Claiming to be and private investigator threatening to send people to my home. 302-734-4581

Larry Lamb: Acting as an attorney saying his going to file criminal charges against me if I do not pay the debt.

    Phone# 636-639-9071
    Phone# 302-736-6481

Here was what I was able to find on them so far by putting a trace on there numbers.

I was called and threatened with criminal charges for a supposed business debt that is unsubstantiated through any legal recourse.  Unscrupulous debt collector bordering on harassment, if you ask me.  I don't understand why they haven't attempted contact through other available means for a supposed debt that is over a year old.

They called me, too. We owe money to Marlin Leasing, a company with a horrible reputation for severe tactics themselves.

I got a voice mail from Alan Ross who said he was hired by Rich Summers to do an asset investigation into my company and into my personal involvement with it, and leaving me the number to call Mr. Summers. [One should realize that that alone is just a scare tactic, folks. If Mr. Ross was calling me to look into assets, he would address that and leave me “his” number, not tell me that's what he was hired to do and then tell me to call the guy who hired him.]

I called Mr. Summers [these are of course going to be false names in all cases -- that's just how they operate]. His tactics were extreme and illegal. I've owed money before due to a struggling business and in all cases people work with me because I'm very easy to work with. This guy was the opposite. Nasty and full of scare tactics. He said he's going to be meeting with my bank regarding average deposits and balances [of course no bank in the world is going to discuss any of that with a collection agency], and that he has a list of vendors [talking to our vendors would surely compromise our business relationships and would be very illegal]. He also said they're going to look at the tax returns, and business licenses.

I tried to talk nicely and be very cooperative, but the pressure tactics were so unacceptable I finally just said to go use whatever legal means he can. I will have an attorney buy me time and drag them out.

Anyone who finds them unbearable can probably get relief by complaining to the appropriate policing entities. I'm sure there are free services for helping, who monitor the tactics of these collection agencies.

This Larry Lamb character called our company over a debt we had with a well known nurse staffing company.  My boss was so shaken by the called she wanted to close the business.  The guy represented himself as if he was part of some official investigation paramount to an FBI investigation.  He threatened to call our clients, and customers and everybody else under the sun if we didn't cough up the money in one hour.  It was like a kidnapping negotiation if you don't send the money the business gets it.

I called the guy back to tell him he really upset my boss and I guess he thought he was still talking to someone who negotiate with a terrorist because he tried to tell me to "shut my mouth" I told him to shut his mouth I'm not your child.  Well I guess he didn't like it because he said I'm termenating the call, so I just hung up on the turd.

Turd:  A chunk of organic material that has been processed by an organism to remove all useful nurishment.
