- CazThe company has done the same to me £3.33 i'm with 02 i have just rung them and they have given me a credit of £3.33 and the number for the company you need to contact them on this number it is free ask why and how they got your number

- Chris BI am with Talkmobile and received a text off this number and I have also been charged £3.33 (plus VAT of course) I had a "chat" with a Talkmobile person who gave me most of the details as above. They also said that the company is called Zamano at Zamano.com and that it provides alerts subscription. On the Talk invoice for this month it only says INCOMING TEXT so there was no way of finding out the number until they checked and told me. When I receive any of the spam texts and calls I look them up on here and add them to the Spam list and delete them but will now have try and stop getting charged any more. I will be reporting them to phonepayplus as there is no way that I would subscribe to alerts about games etc.

- Chris BUPDATE ON PREVIOUS MESSAGE : I tried sending a text to 64000 with the word STOP but before I went to send it a message came up saying there would be a charge so I didn't do that. I was going to email the address given to me by Talkmobile which was Customercare@aristiinternational.com and not as in a previous message that gave customersupport@.... but I decided to ring the Customer Service number 0333 3441797. There was an automated reply (unless he's got a robotic voice) with an English speaking (not foreign) male who gave instructions to press various numbers to stop receiving any more texts (hopefully!) I entered my mobile number, few beeps and then he came back on to say that it had been done but would take up to 30 days. It was suggested that as my number was not registered with TPS I was advised to do so but I have had my landline registered with them from the late 1990s and still get many spam calls so I don't hold out much hope which is why I have blocked lots of calls on the landline and also on my mobile.
Nothing was said about how to receive credits for the text that had been charged for so I wonder if it can be done through Talkmobile, after all, they are the ones collecting the money for the spam texts. If anyone knows how to get a credit I would be grateful to hear how to do it.
By the way, I recorded the call on my ipad so I can refer back to it should I receive any more texts. Ofcom states that it is against the law for anyone to send spam texts unless you have previously given them permission. Think of all the thousands/millions of people who have been unwittingly charged for texts they didn't ask for.- Caller: Aristi Insternational

- SilvergreyheadI got this on my bill this month, never heard of them rang TalkTalk who have credited my account with the £4 well next month anyway they told me to ring some firm to get me off the list but I rang the 0333 number for Aristi international and waited for a human response rather than go through the automeated bit Press 2 instead of 1 they said I had been charged for two months at £4 a month but have offered to refund it by cheque so they have taken my details and hopefully the cheque is on the way, the lady seemed genuine about it.

- Craig| 1 replySame as @Silvergreyhead above. EE gave me a number to text STOP to. I got a reply saying I won't receive further message and for further help ring 03333350589. So i rung the number and pressed option 2. A polite man confirmed that my number had been taken off the list and I won't be billed any further. I asked for a refund for the charge and he asked for my name and address and said a cheque for £4 will arrive within 28 working days. We shall see
