My entire family has T-Mobile and every one of us has received some variation of this same message. T-Mobile has a filter block to keep messages from specific websites or email addresses from coming to your phone, but it is currently unavailable on their website. I called t-Mobile and raised hell because my husband and I don't pay for the text option on our lines and are having to pay for each of these texts we receive! I told them that from what I read on this site, it appears that someone has gotten hold of their customer telephone listings and is sending out mass texts to everyone. They informed me that they don't do any kind of investigating on behalf of their customers in this type of situation, so I guess that tells you how far they will go to protect the customer. They did say that in August when their text rates will raise from 15 cents to 20 cents per message, they are adding a feature to block ALL text messages except T-Mobile and emergency texts, which are free. Who do you complain to about this type of criminal activity? It is being done on a large enough scale that the telecommunications organizations (government or otherwise) should be investigating.
