yup got a similar maryloubell97 spam text msg (spanned two messages actually) - seems to have been sent through the web interface on the Fido website...
was sending to what looks like some social network site called friends-pod.com

I got 2 messages from Maryloubell97 and I did some research and I did find out that this are spam messages to get people to sign in this dating website in which you have to pay monthly. This is targeting men more then ladies, because Telus, Rogers and Fido sell our numbers to this dating company in which the company has the right to send message to cell phone users and try to sell their business to us. Just erase the message and ignore it because there is nothing you can do. Unfortunelly cell phones are not like computers yet and which we can  block spam or pop ups.

I received this text also saying they got my number through a friend and there name was silksatin777. I dont have T mobile, i have net 10. I also sent a response back telling them that i dont know them, dont care and dont text  me again. I get alot of text from a bunch of advertising things also. I wish there was some way to block all of them.
