oh my god i've gotten so many calls from this even at liek 1 in the effin morning. i answered it once and there was like music or something but i dunno..but it doesnt seem like anyone else knows who this is...

i returned the call and they continued to ask my name.  When I did not give them my name, the person with a heavey Indian accent said they had the wrong number.  I assuem it is a telemarketer or a bill collector BUT I don't owe anyone so I know it is not for me.
I would suggest that noone give their name out if you happen to talk with these people.  Allow them to verify who they are looking for.

I get about 3 calls a day from this number. I get calls from other companies looking for the lady who had my number before me. There is never a message left and when I called it back this guy with a heavy Indian accent answered and kept asking my name. I asked what the name of the company was but I couldn't understand him. I hung up to get someone else and the same guy answered again so i just hung up.

It is a bill collector. I want to believe that this particular company is outsoruce. When I ask for written documentation, they said they did not have to provide it. I called my house over 8 times.

This number just called me and asked to speak to me, he said his name was Chris Johnson and then the call disconnected before he could say anything else?  But they did have my name and asked specifically for me...so I don't know what the hell this is.

12/18/2008 10:57pm AGAIN played music untill the machine was full (preventing a message about a household member having car problems - a 83 year old lady had to take taxi home rather than get picked up and car fixed).

NOW THIS IS TRUE HARRASMENT / ANNOYANCE AND I AM GOING TO start legal actions ... per FDCPA harrassment is a legal viloation.

i just saw my newer caller ids. 646-367-3289 left music filling my machine and prevented a few more IMPORTANT CALLS from getting through ... a family member has been diagnosed as having cancer and calls about it were trying to be relayed.

They call all the time, trying to collect a bill for a CD club.  I keep asking them to send me something in the mail but they refuse.  Heavy Indian accents and they just keep repeating "we are not breking the law", "we follow federal guidelines".  Whatever, really annoying!

This is really annoying. No one responds when I call this number back. It rings and goes to a fast busy. I've had 7 calls from this number today alone. I've filed a complaint and really hope these jokers keep calling me.

I am continuosly getting calls from this number and when I answer there is no one there.  I am on the national do not call registry and the need to stop calling.

For the last week I have gotten 3 call per day from this number. No is ever there. I called the number and spoke to a guy with a indian accent. He said that he would put my number on the do not call list. I received another call later that day. The area code is a NY one. I have had my cell number for 4 years and this has just started. He asked me if my phone was registered to a Jessica Newman. I said no. Don't call me again. What can I do to stop these calls other than change my number?

I have received calls from this number as well.  I believe it is a collector for the person who had the number before me.  I also get many calls from other persons/businesses seeking that person by name.  They always ask for the same name.  I tell them the same response whenever they call.  The latter are legitimate business that I believe are sincerely trying to contact the person who peviously had my current phone number.

So, here's what you can do.  My phone has a "Auto-reject" feature.  Go to the feature on your phone and add the number exactly as it appears on incoming or missed calls list.

That should take care of it.

They keep calling me too.  Either call and hang up or get me and ask for someone else.  I have called and asked that they stop calling.

I received this same call today.  Man with Indian Accent wanting to pay 80.00 some dollars for a so called dvd club i joined in o6.  I have NEVER purchased dvds by mail and told him so.  then he got rude and i hung up.

I am sick and tired of ALL the calls -- so many on my cell that I have lost count.  In one week over 25!!!!! Answered and placed on hold once for five minutes and hung up.  Driving me crazy.

I've gotten one call a day for the last week or so and i haven't talked to anyone for more than a minute... WTF, how can i block them from my cell?
