I keep getting calls from this number.

I received a call at work from some guy named Deacon Brown who said I am facing legal charges and my social security number came up. I have no clue what this is!

recieved an email from some guy named Ethan Brown saying I recieved some loan or something and I am facing charges on my social security number. I never recieved a loan.

After numerous calls from this # to both my cell and work #s, I was finally able to establish that this was from a payday loan I received nearly 10 years ago and didn't pay back fully. I was threatened with jail and charges and they threatened to call my manager to get a payment from them. After threatening them with fdca action, they calmed down pretty quickly and tried to make arrangements for payment. I told them good luck and hung up. Contacted the fdca immediately. Hopefully an investigation will get these idiots shut down.

Hello, I keep receiving phone calls from a (646) 401 0186, I am trying to be polite.  However,  "Operator 420" is not making it easy for me.  He is asking for one of my employees, I told him that i would give him the message.  This "operator 420" is very consistent and is to the point where he is harassing my employee. I do not think this guy is a professional, otherwise he would know his limits.  Thank you for your time.

I, too am receiving calls like this at work. What can we do about this? I have now gotten written up for receiving personal calls at work

I got calls from Patrick villa and Ethan Brown both sounded like same person.. they call my work n cell..called my receptionist a Mother F@$$ and demanded to talk to me..it's my day off so I wasn't there but he didn't believe me and talked to my manager and told her he would not stop calling until I called them back..I called him n he said it was about a payday loan but couldn't or wouldn't give me any info on when this loan was taken or what company it was from...I have no outstanding loans/bills so I can't do much if they won't tell me anything.. he said if I didn't pay they would get me fired and have me arrested.. I've delt with collection agencies before and never been told I would be arrested or fired..and those legit debt collector had details of Bill owed and I took care of them I am debt free now..not sure how to stop this type of harassment..caller states they are from federal crime investigation and heavy heavy Indian accent.. any ideas on what to do 646-401-0186 is the number I call..after calling many times and they keep hanging up on me when I try to get details

I chose not to answer.  Message from a so-called Ethan Brown: "...pertaining FOR (my name)...federal claims investgation department regarding a legal complaint about unpaid payday cash advances." Threatened that someone would come to my house or place of work if it escalated.  Funny thing is I don't even work as I stay home with my kids and I've never taken out a payday loan, EVER!  I think I'll answer if he calls again just to see if he can elaborate on these supposed unpaid cash advances.

I continue to get calls from 646-401-0186.  They are blowing up my work number demanding payment and to speak with my manager regarding supposed personal matters.

I've been getting calls all day from this number, this guy is crazy..we even gotten into a argument because he's making threats concerning my job...something needs to be done with this person!

I have received several calls from this number 646-401-0186. They claim to be looking for me saying that I owe them money but they don't tell me from what or want to send anything in writing they are verbally abusive to me, my husband and to my HR representative ... I am fed up with their constant calls and harassment ! They went so far to say that a family member was dying in a hospital and to say they are sending the police to arrest me . Calling me a criminal they are FRAUDULANT ! ITS A SCAM!!! DONT BELIEVE THEM!  I have read all over the internet and this has been happening since last year! first they put a person who sounds like they are from INDIA OR AFGHANISTAN then comes the aggressor who attacks you and he sounds foreign. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE! another thing all those cash advance places sale your information to these people and that's why they have your personal data such as your social ! don't trust anyone !

stop being polite... seriously. These people call and call my office and my cell and threaten my boss and me. They wont stop calling. I already went to the FBI who then directed me to another division. These people do not do anything to stop this from happening. They are criminals.

The call I received was from a Tom or Don Atkins, saying he is from the Federal Investigation bureau. He called my place of employment, spoke very nasty to my coworkers and then continued to call abot 25 times. We had to get the company security officer involved and found out the number he is calling from is a cell number. The cell carrier was contacted and a complaint was filed. A complaint was also filed with the FTC. If possible block the number. Something needs to be done. These people are putting someones job in jeopardy.

This number decides to call me today on my job phone.  Lol the funny thing is that they never called my cellphone. They said their name is Jack knight. The more I listened to them, they sound like scammers trying to get info from me. I didn't divulge any info. That's what they want you to do. They keep on harassing you.

I've been getting calls from Patrick Villa, from BVF Corporation In Miami Florida.  This man has a very heavy Indian accent .
This is a place of business and he keeps calling for my boss who is on vacation.  He says,  "Give her a message, tell her that she is in very big trouble and needs to call him right away." He was very threatening.   It made me very nervous, so I decided to look this up on the internet to see if anyone else have been receiving these calls.  So glad I did.  Sure hope someone finds him and arrests him.  What a scam!  Next time when he calls I'm going to tell him that I have informed the police and he was in" very big trouble,"
