Said i owed money from a loan i didnt pay.and i was being sued.  I called them a scam and they hung up.

I got the same call, told me that they are going to press criminal charges against me for running away from my loan responsibilities when I said I never took out a loan.  I had the local police contact him and then he called me back yelling at me, I told him to take me to court. This guy has a foreign accent and calls himself Jeff Morgan, a state attorney at a company called American Consolidation, which is a fruit shipping company when you look it up online, also it's a cell from Menola, NY....scam artist, he said I would have to go to jail and pay bail, then a lawyers fee for the court case and that I could choose to pay over 500.00 right now and he wouldn't file the case against me, he wouldn't provide any information so make sure you don't give any of yours out.

I just got that same call, but the person identifies himself as Alex Morgan calling from "Law Firm" saying that US Cash Advance owns a company who made a loan to me some months ago and I reportedly refused to pay it back.  I asked him for the loan amount, the date it was made, and the subsidiary it was supposedly made from.  He only replied that he was authorized to settle for the sum of $449.00 and he wouldn't take me to court.  I told him to just go ahead and serve me, and I'll get my attorney right on it.
He immediately hung up, and hasn't taken my calls.  It's nothing more than a scam attempt.  Don't fall for it.

Just got the same kind of call from this guy, but I let it go to voice mail and he left me a message about not paying a loan and I never took out a loan. He has a heavy accent and it was very hard to understand him as there was a lot of background noise. Actually, it sounded like other people were leaving the same type of message on other phones. I also had an email to that effect telling me I had 7 days to pay ~$469.00 or legal proceedings would begin. I replied that I don't know anything about this. I received a second email that said "you will." I appreciate the information others have posted on this site.

Got the same call lastnight only thing i did different was told the foreigner sounding so called attorney. That he had the wrong number and the wrong name i refused to be any part of being sued when i did nothing wrong besides come on this idiot that called my phone was east indian and i didn't. believe he was legit

I Just received a weird call from a very Foriegn sounding man, saying that he was from some Law Firm (I couldn't EVEN understand the East Indian accent) he went on to tell me that there was a Large lawsuit against my social security card ending in the last 4 digit of my social sec #.  I told him that I worked with the local sheriff dept, and the call was being recorded, and I let him know that I knew this was a scam.  I then hung up on him.  The "law firm" called back immediately.  I had my boyfriend answer my phone as our local sheriff dept answers their calls.  They hung up immediately.  The sheriff's dept (when I called them) told me that alot of times these idiots out there do have the last 4 digits of your social security #, and if they do manage to get the rest of your #'s from you, then you are Toast!!  They have you, they have your info and they will wreck havoc with your life.  People, Please do not give out any info, and report this to the Federal Trade Commission, as well as the 3 credit reporting agencies, as you are now a Fraud Victim!!!

Got a call from these people and I couldn't understand the name of the imaginary law firm or anything, but I did hear that they were suing me and some other garbage about me paying them for a loan that I had defaulted on he also told me that I was going to spend 65 days in jail cause the police would come and pick me up from my home or my job if I didn't settle this matter right now. I told them to send it to me in writing and hung up. I've called the Georgia Office of Consumer Affairs and the Federal Trade Commission on these idiots.

That is where the calls are coming from.

I have notified US Cash Advance of this guy and the bad publicity they are receiving because of him. I have also called Pierce Law office in NY and made them aware of his using their name as well. I have the above address as well as his phone number to both.

We have to work together to stop this kind of crap. How many little old ladies have believed him and given him their last SS check to keep the "cops off the doorstep"?
Don't be afraid to ask for more info. It is your right. American's have become too afraid to ask questions and let people like this run over us.

Same thing here from 646-499-5324 and I have blocked them from calling my cell and now they are calling me at work repeatedly. I told the guy who called himself Daniel Webster that I knew this was a scam and not to ever call me again...his response "Who told you?" LOL   I just laughed and hung up. I wish I could use an airhorn at work...but pressing the telephone key in thier ear works too. :)

I have filled out an online report to the FBI & the Consumer Protection Agency for continued harrassment and I suggest that everyone else do the same.

I too have received the phone calls and fake warrant via an email stating they were going to have  felony criminal charges against me.  I sent a copy of this warrant to my attorney & he confirmed it was a SCAM.  Also filed a case against them with our Sheriff's Department, Federal Trade commission & alerted all of the credit bureau and my banks.  This place needs to be STOPPED!!!!!!!!
