Called and when answering machine picked up they didn't leave a message. Caller id says "New York, NY."

I had literally just walked in the door to hear that a-hat (a guy) on the phone to my teenager. I am so floored at what I heard he said to my teenager.. "What you little s***? Don't you f***** understand English? If you're going to live in America learn to speak it. When is (both my hubby & I's name) getting home? "  I grabbed the phone replied... "When your funeral happens a-hat." Then hung up.

We are on the National Do Not Call list for all our cells and home phone. Needless to say I'm pretty p*****. Off to report a-hat to FCC.

Gotten a call 6465026605 and here were my hubby and I live its listed as not available.

Same as what Gary and Amy said...'cept in my case, he asked for someone with a different name than mine.  I think someone with that name had my phone number before I had it, but that would've been 10+ years ago.  Obviously a scam.  Clark Howard (financial guy/radio talk-show host) warns about these people.

Yes, so I just sat down and the phone rang from this number.  Answered the phone and got music and then a disconnect.  Pissed off I call the number back and get the same music playing and then some guy who doesn't really speak English answers asking me for my name.  Didn't answer his question and told him that I do not know who the hell he is but to never call me back again and to remove my number off his list this second.  His broken English voice said he would remove my number now and then hung up on me.

me too am on DNC list. blocked him from my phone then i got a call from same jerk only ph# 19-1731 thats it!!!  If we contact the Atty General office or FTC or other organization then the other party has our names, addresses, email address.  I dont want to give out any info. I was called 2x yesterday and once  just before this email.  What can we do?  Help!

This same number 646-502-6605 called my house saying something was wrong with my computer I knew it was a scam. I asked him how would you know that and he hung up on me.

I AM SICK, SICK, SICK OF A--H---- LIKE THIS..........I could'nt make this idiot understand that we didn't want whatever he was selling or to be a part of his scam.  He started cussing me and hung up.  DNC lists are what I think they are calling from!

Just got a call from that number .. when I said 'hello' got the music and an accented man asking for Mrs. ***.  I said she (I) wasn't home .. he wanted to know when to call back .. I said later today.  Then, I looked online and found this website .. I think the same guy may have called my husband a few weeks back .. sounded like the same scam about something wrong with the computer ..

My mom got a call and she's 86 years old. Fortunately, she knows not to let anyone mess with her computer but ME. I'm her computer tech person.

I called the company and he said it was PC Cure. I told him they have been reported to the FCC and the DNCR and that they should be ashamed of themselves. I informed them they weren't to call my parent's number again.

I am researching an autodialer service - then I can punch in a number have it keep calling and calling.  It would be great to just keep calling these guys that call us.
I didn't answer but the call came from New York, NY (646) 502-6605 - on my business line that is listed on teh do not call list.

The # 646-502-6605 showed up on Caller ID from New York, NY... when I answered I heard about 1 second of music and then it disconnected. And then I came to this site. After reading other's posts I added this # to my Comcast Call Screening Service (*60) which blocks up to 12 #'s.

Found that my panasonic cordless phone has a call block button.  If I select save as if to save the number there is a call block option.  You may still get the calls but mine rings once and then gives the message blocked call.  It is worth a try.

On Sept. 25, 2012, got a call from an Indian accent man INSISTING that there's something wrong with my mother's computer.  He insisted she get in front of her laptop while he wants her to go to a web address to download some software. (I heard everything as I was on an extension phone)  I know this is a scam call because I just formatted & re-installed XP Pro on her older laptop a while ago.  She doesn't get online unless I release her laptop to go online through my router.

9/26/12, at 1:48 pm central time.  I received a call from 646-502-6605, showing New York, NY.  The man (with an accent) asked for a different person by name.  I said no one with that name was at this number and that it was our residence.  He then automatically said, well, it's about the computer.  I hung up.

It was interesting how quickly he just slid right in there with the line about the computer, no matter who he had on the phone.

I don't have any problems with my Mac.  I'm sure he thought I was a PC owner.  I didn't call for service, as my Mac never needs service and never gets a virus.  So he is full of hot air.  Hang up on him, and keep reporting him.

I continue to receive calls from this number.   I consider the calls to be harrassing unsolicited phone calls.   I am an elderly widow and do not need this harrassment.   Such calls should be reported to the Better Business Bureau in your area and I will be happy to accommodate you with that if you continue.
