Called my cell phone tonight - very bad connection, very middle-eastern sounding person asked for me by name (but mangled my very simple last name), and said they were from "debt services".  I told her I wasn't interested, but she kept raising her voice and trying to out-talk me.  We finally ended up yelling at each other before I hung up.

Omg I thought i was the only one! its really kinda scary and i reported it to the local police!

I picked up and the line went dead.

I keep getting calls from different numbers stating they need to talk to my mom and say her name but when I try to call the numbers back they are always busy.  They state there is a serious matter of internet fraud.  The one guy who left a message, his name was Jack McCoy (Law & Order)  My mom gets calls and the guys name was James Brown.  I'm sorry but you have a foriegn accent and you have american names.  Don't think so.  Nothing but scam artisit.

I get  a couple of calls a week for the past 3 weeks.  Some one I cannot understand is on the other end,  could be middle eastern.  I have been hanging up on them and today tried to talk to this person but still could not understand what they wanted.  I told him to he was getting the wrong number  and then hung up on him.

Wow, so I'm not the only one! I keep getting calls from this number and when I call back to see who it is...it's always busy! SCAM. I just recently been harassed by some middle-easterners with thick indian accents and american names. Now they are starting again apparently! I filed a police report the last time.

I got a call on 05/12/10, but didn't answer it, so I Google the num and there it was a bunch of complaints on this num 646-558-5600. I add the num on my reject list because there are the people who been stalking & harassing me for the last couple of weeks. They just keep calling me from different nums. At one point in time, they have been calling my place of work and it was to the point of my manager getting involved to ask them to stop calling me and stating that I no longer work at the business nomore. These people are very nerve wrecking and hope they will get caught and get what's coming to them. For everyone such as myself which is having the same problems, just report them to the police and keep reporting them to the authorities because they will get caught eventually and the stress that they're causing us, will come back to them. I hope and pray that they do get caught and punish for this because it's not right and fair to be harassed. So hang in there my fellow people who are going thru the same thing that I am going thru.

Hey dumbasses...how can someone be from the middle east and have an indian accent. That makes them south asian. thats probably why theyre calling you. Cause you are stupid!

Reverse searched this numer and it's coming out of New York City New York - didn't answer it but after reading the posts on this site I'm glad I didn't -

I got two missed calls in the last 2 days from this number.

receive a call from this number at 3x a day even after i told them do not call me.  They were asking for poeple i dont know.  WHen i tell the Indian guy he has the wrong number he tells me i am lying and that he is the FBI,LOL, I told him if he is the FBI he should know who he is speaking too,  Then he asked me if i was hispanic i told him no i am american, then he starts asking what is the whitest part on my body and that my P*^#y must be pink, he refuses to stop calling and now blocks the number,Caller: 6465585600

I just received a call from (646) 558-5624, dead silence was all I got.  When I called this number back, a recorded message, in perfect english (no middle-eastern accent) said: "You have been contacted for telemarketing pursposes.  If you do not wish to receive these calls and wish to be put on our "do-not-call" list, press 1.  If you wish to speak with a live person, press 2."

It appears they have many numbers, all of them starting with (646) 558-56xx.

They're telemarketers, just hang up on them!

They posted an ad on craigslist for acting jobs with this number. They want a bunch of info and say they are from Top Casting USA.  Glad I searched this first...what a SCAM!!!!!!!
