Had an OOB call from this today - was out. No idea what it is, but it is "final digit different" compared to a known "computer problem" scanner (646-612-3456).

they say there is a problem with my computer and will call me back to help rectify the problem

They are full of [***] they keep calling about our computer and hang up when you tell them you dont use the computer that much

Rang a really old number to say my computer was having problems.

got call from man who had heavy Indian accent asking me to go to teamviewer.com because I had a virus saying he was from windows . Wanted me to give him access to my computer. Threatened to crash my computer if I didn't allow him access.HANG UP ON THIS GUY HE IS A SCAMMER TRYING TO STEAL INFORMATION OR DOWNLOAD MALWARE

This is a scam.  They are trying to break into your computer and install malware through teamviewer.  No one will call you and say "Your computer" is doing bad things.


I could tell this was a scam from the start so I played dumb with them.  I started with I have multiple computers which one.  Windows, Linux or Mac?  They chose Mac as the target...  They offered the phone number of 414-255-0707 as their phone number, but my caller ID gave the number in this post.  Eventually they hung up on me after they had enough.  It is a shame because I can easily see where people can fall victim to this type of attack.  Where did our morals go?

I just got a call from this number with the same pitch as described above..... After I asked a bunch of time for their company name, they said "Home IT Experts".  I Googled it with them on the phone and could find any info (surprise surprise surprise)... Anyway, I played along for a while until I got bored and then hung up...

A guy with indian accent asking me to log into team viewer so he can fix my computer remotely , after the fourth call
in two days I snappped today and told him I would find him and break his head open . Now I wait ! Lol
