There are people calling me for 8 months @ 646-652-0488.They claim that I owe a debt.I have been asking them to send me some form of documentation of the debt I owe.I personally believe it is fraud.They are trying to get all my pertinent info about me..They have my address.It sound like they are from India..Sometimes the number changes.....

the same thing happened to me today. they first called my brother saying i owed a lot of money. so i called them and they said they worked for BCA Law Office. the man had a heavy indian accent and was calling clearly from a call room. he said i had to appear in court tomorrow and i was being sued. he had the last 4 of my SS# my previous address my mothers name, brothers name and the name of the bank i bank with. he kept yelling at me. and when i asked to speak with the manager he the manager was also rude and also had an accent. he said his name was Ben Frosner or something like that. I called the National Credit Adjusters and they told me it was a total SCAM. Dont pay them! NCA told me to tell them "this call is being recorded and I will hand this tape over to the proper authorities if you continue to call me.

I got a call from this number today, and the guy's name was Roger Williams. There was a lot of background noise, and the caller had a thick Indian accent. I have been getting calls like these on and off since October 2010.

All the messages are the same and seems that the callers read from a script.. they all beging with: "This message is intended for........ as soon as you receive this message, you or your retained attorney on record must return this phone call", etc, etc. etc....

I've already had to close out accounts and re-open them, and I am not sure if changing my phone number would even help, as that may be my next plan of action.

I just got off the phone with these fools.. I was scared for a min but kept talking to them so I could research cause I was scared due to the fact Ive never even had a speeding tkt much less fraud charges and the only people I knowingly owe 5k to is my student loans. He kept saying I sound like a good american and such. I researched the # and its a cell in NY and the fax # he gave me is in another part of NY. I called the FTC and they told me it was a SCAM! These people are saying theyre DCA Law Firm collecting for Global Credit Services at 42 Broadway in NYC on the 5th Fl. There is a DCA at that address but its to license tow trucks in NY!

these people with a heavy accent called me at work today and claimed i owed for a loan and that 3 major chargers will be brought against me,including fraud. i just wanted to know if anyone else has had a call from this number 646-652-0488. when i tried to call the number back it said no longer in service. he said that this name was louis or something like that.

I have been getting calls from these clowns as well...on my caller id they show as a totally different number and area code, but the call back number they give is 646-652-0488. He (the obviously indian guy) says his name is Jerry Nelson....that makes it comical to me. I figured I'd have fun with 'em since he said he suspended my social security card (and....?) He also stated he represented the government, to which I responded that I infact work for the government and that he should forward any pertinent or requested information through the proper channels. Of course, he just resorted to empty threats...I hung up after going in circles with Mr. Jerry Nelson there...and the SOB called me right back. Relentless I tell you. Obviously a scam, don't need to be a genius to figure that out. He did have the last four of my social, the last four of my checking account....but he was unable to provide anything further than that...they continue to call and am not sure how to get it to stop. I am going to call my service provider and see if they can block the numbers from calling me or what they can do to assist in this.

They had my full SS# VERY SCARY

I did this morning. Well I have been for the last few months but did nothing about it until today I called my sheriff's office they said that if anyone threatens that a cop is going to come to your place of work that they are lying and most likely it is a scam. So I googled it and yes all the stories I have been reading are exactly like the calls and word for word what they say to me as well. They did have my full SS# which is extremely scary, so I would suggest for everyone to change there acct number to their bank as well just to be on the safe side! WHAT CREEPS

they have been contacting me as well claiming i have a charge against me for check fraud.

They called me at work and told me I owed a debt. He had all my info except they were reading me someone else's SSN. After I told him it was not my SSN he proceeded to call me a liar & repeat the SSN. I told him he should not be giving me other peoples personal information. If your trying to scam someone at least get your info correct.

I also received a phone call from 646-652-0488 claming they are a collection agency they done this to me several times so I know their tricks It's an Indian gentelmen claming he is going to take me to court for fraud L.O.L!!! is all fraud thet are fraud I already know that so if anyone else gets a phone call please first don't pay them second tell them you will let the proper authorities and the call is being recorded and they wii stop PLEASE do not pay them anything is all a SCAM!!!!!.

Got a phone call from 646-652-0488 but the caller ID showed up as 916-395-0000. Told me that I was going to have a sherriff come to my door tomorrow and arrest me. Told me I was being charged with three different counts of fraud...  I did my research and then called them back, I told the guy that answered the phone everything that I had found out. I gave it to him good, he then whispered, I am sorry ma'am yes this is a fraud just dont pay them..... and by the way everyone I spoke with had a heavy Indian accent........   DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY AT ALL .

i paid these people 500 last time they called me and then they started calling again  this phone number is a scam dont fall for it please it is a rip off

These people have been calling off and on for months, I have recorded the conversations and turned it in to the authorities. Please do not fall for it. I'm upset because they have my info, home, cell, and work numbers! Be careful of what info you send over the internet.

They have a new number now.  It is 718-841-6477.  It returns to the Bronx, NY.  The person who called me said his name was Cody Foster.  Really?? Cody Foster?  He was calling to talk to my daughter, saying if she didn't return the phone call today then papers would be filed and a warrant would be issued for her arrest.  He wanted me to verify the last 4 of her social, which I didn't do.  Very heavy accent, when I asked where he was from, his nationality, he said that information was none of my business.  IF YOU GET PHONE CALLS OF THIS NATURE, DO NOT GIVE IN!!  CALL YOU STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AND REPORT THESE NUT JOBS!

I received a call from this number on my cell phone and my work phone 71-841-6474, Kevin and Ryan Scott they say they are they had my SS#, my e-mail address, my work number.  I stayed on the line with them for 30 minutes, they accused me of fraud, deception, and WOULD not give me any company information on this except BCA Law office and I would be arrested in the morning.  I called my attorney and they explained that this guy was a phone scam and that I should press charges against them with my local attorities.  PLEASE BEAWARE THUIS IS A SCAM to get any personal information they can.  This person had a strong acient.
