Called me @ 1:52pm PST didn't leave a msg

It's a scam from "Hey Cosmo". Trying to get you to go to there website and sign up for their "free" trial. I'm sure you then get charged beaucoups bucks. Just have your provider block the number.

It's the same thing as 4016480571. There's 23 pages on this website of comments if you look up the 401 number that will tell you the same thing.

I'm in DC and got the call 12/18/10 at 7:34pm EST. I only know one couple in NY and this isn't their number. My phone didn't even ring - I just got the "Missed Call" notification. He/she didn't leave a message.

Since there are so many people who've been called by this number, it could be that the person calls a new random number every day/week, etc.

just got a call from it. lasted less than 3 seconds. phone said it was from Manhattan NY.

They called me too and didn't leave a message! .o.

This number calls me and they think I am a Tommy Roberson, which I am not.  Apparently, this Tommy guy owes somebody money and they are 'coming for me'.  The person calling has a thick accent, possibly middle-eastern.  He tells me he feels sorry for me, that they have 'court records', and that Tommy or his attorney had better call.  I've been told a policeman will come to my door.  
This is just one of the numbers they call from, but, this time, this morning, I acted like I was Tommy's attorney and got them to give me an address.  They gave me:  42 Broadway, 5th Floor, NY, NY 10044
These scammers are obviously trying to intimidate me into paying, which, by the way, they've yet to tell me who the debt was to or even how much it is for.  
Short of changing my phone service, these people just aren't stopping!  This has been going on for 6 months.

I just got a call from these same people at Oak View saying I also took a loan out for $500 from American Cash Advance. It is a scam, please report them to the FTC so they can be shut down.
It is illegal to threaten to sue someone, as well as againts the law to demand payment for a loan when the debt collector will not even send you a copy in writing.

This number just called me and when the machine picked up I could hear a female talking in the background but the caller didn't leave a message. Very annoying.
