Got a voicemail from a Don Parker or Don Barker, took on a threatening tone that some employee needed to call back ASAP or face legal action.  Couldn't understand the message had to replay multiple times to decipher what in the heck he was saying (thick accent).  Based off the note above, this guy can go pound sand...refusing to state any information or who you are?  Yeah, that's legit!

If anyone know how that heck are this people please report them they call you as a collector name Don Tocker or something like that (if you actually get the name) left you a voicemail about the pay advance that you refused to pay back but...(and this is good)the just tell you that you are about to face legal action and that they are from the National Affidavit Processing Agency or(NAPA)just tell them tu go @:~%$* some else           Do not make any payment or give out any personal infomation

I got a call from a guy that spoke like no English saying I was going to have legal action against me but would not tell me why or what for. I hung up on him he called me back 5 time and then called my work 5 time treating me and my family and told my job that I was going to jail. The whole problem is that I am in bankruptcy at this time so there is no way I owe anything that is not in my bankruptcy and when I tell the guy I will give him my attorney's info and he said "I don't want that [***] if you want me to talk to your attorney then have that [***] call me" I was so pissed off and will be filing my own law suit of on them if they don't leave me alone!!!! Please don't fall for this!!!!

I received these same phone calls from 646-727-7153, New York, New York. This time the caller identified himself as Officer Scott Right (scotch rite tape maybe?). He informed he was calling from National Affidavit Processing. I was barely able to make out the word processing when he pronounced it because of his broken-English (heavily East Indian) accent. He said I was being named in a lawsuit about a payday loan. I asked when this loan was allegedly done and he told me not to interrupt him. I told him since this concerned me, I could interrupt and ask questions as much as I wanted. He became irate because I would not stop talking and claimed he couldn't hear me because of static in the line then hung up because I was telling him they could do whatever they felt like they needed to do and was he getting that on the recording he so say had going. I am glad we have a way such as this to be able to get the word out about scammers like these. These are great forums to get warnings to others. I for one am going to contact the National Do Not Call listing to report the #, make reports of this harrasment to my local law enfocement agencies, State Attorney General , FTC and BBB.

I have been receiving calls from this heavy accented Indian man claiming to be "Officer" whatever saying I owe $176.00 and am going to be sued. I called him back and they would not give me any information on the company that is supposedly suing me. I told him if this is legit, then I'll see him in court with my own law suit agianst him. His response was "You will be dragged to court and slapped with heavy legal fines and be prepared to do hard time". LOL What an idiot. I am filing a police report, I have saved all of their voice messages, am recording their calls and will be prepared to sue these morons. I will also be contacting better business bureau. Im coming after them now.

I also received multiple calls from this BS company, claiming that I owed them money from a payday advance and that I will be sued if I don't pay it back. I also interrupted the guy and he started screaming at me so I cussed him out and hung up on. If you recieve calls from these jokers don't worry about it, it's all a scam to get money out of you. They ask if you would like to keep it out of court like all they want is a credit card number.

Had to laugh at the above message from 'Johnson'. I'm in the UK, and often use this site. More and more of these Indian/Asian f**kwits are trying this scam. Its just started in England, since payday loans are a fairly new thing over here. Makes me laugh how some of them give names lifted from tv or movies, i.e. Officer Steve Austin etc! Stupid bloody [***]! The accent gives the game away immeadiately! I hope none of our friends in the USA are daft enough to pay these scumbags. Would love to come face to face with them and show them how Western justice works. Pondlife.

I received this call on my Google phone number that isn't listed anywhere. They are obviously picking numbers arbitrarily with the hopes of scaring a few people into making payments. I would advise against calling these jokers or providing any information.

A man named Shawn Marsh from NAP, National Affidavit Processing called me at work and stated that a lawsuit was being filed against me for an outstanding balance that I owed and that criminal charges would also be filed. If this went to court it would cost me 1500 in court fees and additional fees for a lawyer, etc. He could resolve the issue today for $ 380.45 by me sending him money by western union or giving him a credit card number. I also had to fax him a copy of my drivers license and a letter that he dictated what it should say authorizing him to debt my account. I called him back and asked for the specific business I conducted business with and he could not provide it to me. He gave me three different business names. At that point he stated all of that information would be emailed to me with a receipt for my payment. My concern is that he has all of my personal information.

Yep they tried that [***] with me too.  Except I called them back and played they're little game right back.  How pathetic these worthless individuals cant go and make a real living but did you expect anything more from these people? I didnt.  Oh and his new name is Officer Bruce hall.

DO NOT CALL HIM BACK!! Report this to you phone company! This way he will be shut down. There are legal actions your phone company can take, if enough people report this. I just received this voicemail, as I do not answer unknown #'s. There are way too many scammers out there to answer, or call back unknown #'s. Please be aware, and report any scammers to your carrier! I did!

called me said he was from united legal somethin or another who can make it out with that accent... had wife to call back from another phone and claim to be detective and he said sorry this is a phone sex line..lol

who da heck is John Miller legal investigator calling me from a 646 area code and I stay in da 757...confused a little but it sounds like a scam to me!

Yeah, same deal.  I called the number back on my company phone so that he couldn't see it was my cell.  He asnwered "hello," and I asked whom I was calling and speaking to.  Do not recall the name, but the folks above have the "company" name correct.  He asked who I was.  I asked what business it is that he conducts.  He said "legal action" or something of the sort.  Then he asked again who I was.  I said, what kind of legal action?  Then he said "who the HELL IS THIS?"  I told him that that was no way to get the information he wants.  He hung up.  ;-]
