Called saying from Crime Prevention.  Had thick Indian accent, threatened and said I owed money.  I could go to walmart and get a visa card put money on it and give hime that number.  Threatened a law suit.  Would not give me any documentation about this. Called my work and what not.  They need to stop

Just recieved a call from "Patrick Jones" with a thick indian accent as well asking for my mom...said I was a reference and that they needed her cell number. Said she was in a huge mess and they needed to speak with her ASAP. I asked what it was in regards to and all he would tell me is that he couldnt tell me because it was confidential. I hung up on him. He then continued to call back 5 times before leaving a voicemail.

An East Indian man called and his name was Tony White and he was saying he was from a crime prevention from the Federal Government and that my wife was in big trouble that she had gotten a cash advance back in May of 2009 and that she did not pay it back and he was going to have her arrested and put in the big house if we did not pay 5,000.00 dollars.  He was very vague would not give us any information about the cash advance so I told him where to go and he called back saying he was Juan Hernandez but he had the same heavy indian accent now we are recieving several calls a day saving they are going to rape me, my wife and my children and how funny the 911 attack was.

"Martin Thompson" called from 646-808-3555 and he said his ext. was 8808.  I was so astounded, I made him spell name, get the phone number and his ext, as the call came in as restricted.  I am a programmer - i know the game.  THIS is a wicked one.  Used to the email crap, but these phone calls - this is a perfect scam.  Call someone with this info, give them a date so old they cannot research it (most people wouldn't), and the threats of law suit or warrants and voila!  Many people become the mark.

Martin and all will now be reported to CERT, FBI, FTCC and my State's AG.  Maybe call local law, not sure yet.  And I will tell him to do his worst.  After all - if was a legit debt, they have to PROVE it.

I firewalled my computer against these [***] and was locked down.  So they come at my cell phone.  DO NOT GIVE ANYONE FROM THIS COMPANY OR NUMBER ANY INFORMATION!  NOTHING! This is a red flag alert for sure.

i just got a call from 646-808-3555 w/ the same ext he left me a msg saying he was mr.walker and he too would not give me info on this cash advance i supposely got online i have never rcvd a cash advance from these people....

what can i do so these people would stop calling me, they have called me like 10 times today and they are pounding me to pay this money today, they are wanting my debit card and everything..i told them to give me more info on this money i owed and they told me they couldn't they said it was from a paydaycash.com i never got anything online

First to the one getting repeated calls, are you on the DNC Registry?  If so, tell them that.  If not, get all numbers on that list www.donotcall.gov.

But for anyone recieving a call restricted, who is able to then get their number to find it matches this, I tell you above all else: DO NOT divulge ANY information!  Tell them their are alerts about their scam and that you have already reported them to the authorities I listed above and any others I may have left off the list.  Tell them to cease and desist immeidately or you will call law enforcement.  And do not let them cut you off, get this message to them as forcefully and they want to come at us.  I don't care if you have reported them before you call or after, but tell them you have.  In my case, I added that as a programmer analyst I am well aware of 'you scum' and my expertise is tracking down ba**tds like you!

But after you inform THEM they have been outed, hang up immediately and start alerting all agencies.  I have been to FBI, I just called my state's NC AG and gave them all the information - his name, number, and what they wanted.  NC's AG is very pro-active.  But I won't stop there.  The more pressure we put on them, they will have to close shop and revamp, change numbers, think of a new mix of american names, and devise a new scheme.

That's Okay - like I told "Martin", Bring it on, because right now I am one PO'd programmer.  I will reach out and touch THEM!  MFSOBES&D!

He's back.  OMG, I CANNOT believe the stupidity (can't be nerve) of these people!  I told Martin (or Martyn) Thompson to google himself on the internet because he will see that I followed through on my claims.  I have been to the FBI, FTCC, and State AG.  Then he began to yell something, and I cut him off with, "I have already VERIFIED you are a crimimal, so call one more time, and I will call my local law enforcement". That was the second call.  The first, they did not get the message, I guess.  I have found this name under the directories like this and count about 3 or 4 different scams.  The one we are being subjected to (the nastiest), the one where his wife is sick and needs money (that is usally a con pulled in person), another where you are to call a certain phone number and when you do you are charged.  Not sure on how that works - just skimmed that one.  And for you business owners, they try to sell services of their company - www.itscoldoutside.com (I think that was the name, i won't even click the link to the site for fear the trojans that may try to bust down my firewall security).  In this, they - Martin -  specialize in search engine placement.  The latter is to hit businesses (and phone number is  01619286999).  These others, tho, are at individuals. Martin and co-horts are busy.  Looks like they ply their craft via the internet, email, phone and even snail mail.  All criminal and all have one thing in common - Martin or Martyn Thompson.

I feel sorry for the REAL Martin Thompson.  Do they use names of the deceased or what?  To use the same name for this much criminal activity is curious indeed.  But it is obvious Martin Thompson was not his birth name.

Post this number and any names as many places as you can to spread the word.  That in addition to legal authorities.  I want these A*Holes to know they are in the cross hairs.

I had a Chris Miller from 646-808-3555 say that he was calling me because i was a reference for my wife.  He said he could not give out any information but for me to refer his name and number to my wife for her to call him,.  Said he was with the Department of Crime Prevention.  I did get out that they were located in New York and that my wife was having a company sue her for something.  Kept telling me he could not tell me anything but told me since i am her husband that i am in as much trouble as her.  Got mad at me for asking questions and hung up on me.  This is so crazy and a scam.  Googled their number and all the scams came up form that number.  Peole are so stupid.  he had a Thick Indian Accent and the phone kept going quiet and then loud when he would talk.  They even traced my phone call and got my name and number when i called back.

I too just received a call from some Indian man supposidly named Paul something. He asked to speak to someone who doesn't even live here and I don't even talk to anymore regarding a legal case against me. I told him he has the wrong number just to shut him up and he told me "No I don't and if I don't get ahold of him, the girl is going to be arrested probably." I just hung up and he now has called 5 times after not leaving any message. I finally answered and told him I am going to report him and to cease and distist or I will get the law involved. He told me that crap doesn't work with him and he incouraged me to try. He started acting like a jerk and said everyone who thinks they can stop him is funny and going to jail themselves.
I don't think he is taking the law threat attack serious. I really hate this man and wish I could see his so called "private company" go down. JERK

I have rec' several calls at home as well as work.The first person was Patrick Jones from crime prevention.He would not give me any info,only that I owed $650 and it must be paid by 12 o'clock or I would be arrested or fined $4000.The second person Eric Wilson,3rd Mike Sinclair...all had extremely heavy Indian accents.What is interesting is I called this number when I arrived at work,a message was on my desk to call 646-808-3555 and when I did it was a Best Western hotel..I called back an hour later and it was these criminals.They MUST be stopped.I am contacting everyone I know,as well as the authorities..these animals are BRUTAL..

My friend just received a call from a man by the name of Eric Wilson who had a thicke indian accent who said that he was calling on behalf of the Crime Prevention and was looking for ME and that I had put her down as a reference and was in some HUGE legal trouble. I called him back and he tried to swindle 386 dollars out of me for something I didn't do. Basically I told them where to shove it as well. this is crazy!

This guy was "David Johnston" who said my name was given as a reference, but did not say by whom. He said it was a very important legal matter. I had to listen to the message 3 times due to his HEAVY Indian accent just to get the number. I was leary so, here I am along with everyone else. I WILL NOT be calling this idiot back! How do they get our numbers and names? I recently had a computer virus, could that be why? I am irritated! He also said at the end of his message "have a good day and GOB BLESS"! What? I have never heard of a collection agenecy saying that!

Caller has called me from this number for the past few days saying I took out a payday loan. Very thick Indian accent called my work so I reported him to the Sheriffs Dept. They are investigating it. They have changed there name every time giving me a american name

My poor co-worker has been harassed all day by these people asking to speak w/me. I finally make back into the office after morning meeting and was able to pick up the phone. A gentleman with a very thick Indian accent id himself as something Thomas from Dept. of Crime Prevention. I asked what this was about and he started about owing $$? I had a bad feeling about the whole thing. So, I asked for a return telephone #646-808-3555 plus a supervisor who could speak english. The supposedly supervisor picked up the phone..another thick Indian Accent..At that point, I told him I would not continue the phone call until I could speak w/someone I could understand. This lead me to hanging up on these people. Believe it or not they called back angry I hung-up. I told the gentleman do not call here again that I was going to notify our state gov. then hung up again w/a slam of the phone. Anyone reading this do not give out any information.

A man with an indian accent said I had to pay 510.00 or i will face legal action that their investigators will be at my door to take me to the court house

I received a call today from a gentleman today saying his name was "Gary Thompson" stating that I owe him money for a payday loan I never took out. The gentleman had a very thick indian accent and threatened to involve the law enforcement. I agreed to send the gentleman a 100 dollar card that he must pick up from walmart. I work for Walmart Asset Protection and will be able to track the gift card through our system so soon enough I will have pictures of the gentlemen or people they are involved with. They picked the wrong one today lol

Constant calls and threats from Steve Jordan at 646-808-3555.Caller Id shows restristed #.Left message but with no info just threats.VERY HEAVY INDIAN ACCENT.Very scarey.Told me to call back immediately.Not returning call.Who are these people and what can I do to stop this? Any suggestions?

Someone from crime prevention stating his name was "Jason Williams"  with also a heavy indian accent, Saying I got a loan from paydaycash in the amount of 310.00 and if I dont pay back 425.00 I will go to jail in the next 42 hours. I mean they had my ssn,two references (my most important info) stating i got in Nov 2007 When I didnt even have a computer then and didnt even know one of references in 2007 and when I told him i would have my lawyer contact them and review these charges against me and immediately they tried to disconnect the call.  TOTAL SCAM!!!!

Saying he owes a payday loan that he never took out, has his social security # and everything, this is bad that they have all his info.  I'm going to find a way to stop these people from doing this, I don't know how but there has to be a way to end these calls to all of the people.
