I got a call from this number. The guy with a heavy accent probably a foreign accent told he was from law enforcment and that i have an outstanding payday loan and if i dont take care of this matter then i will be picked up and put in jail. This is a scam and i have given this number for investigation to the FBI and to the BBB. The guy named bob or something said he is an officer and that he has my case file with him. I know this is a scam and this guys are fraud. Dont give your personal informations to them.

i got the call from this same number and the same guy bob told me the same thing. this is a scammmm.

I just woke up to the same call today at 8:30 ish and his name was Joseph Newman. He said that he was calling from the Financial Crime of Investigation, NY. He claimed that I had to pay $6386 to sort this out over the phone and not deal with it in court! When I asked him what I was charged for he said, "internet fraud". It's a LIE! He was being so shady! and 646 810 8626 is his number.

I too just received a call.............they are a scam. Don't give out any info.

I also have recieved this call from the same same # and 2 different calls about the same matter w/different #'s.Has anybody gotten a hold of an attorney to see what they suggest to do about the matter.

I received the same phone call at work.  I have told them repeatedly to stop calling or I would contact the police.  They threaten me with all types of legal action because I wouldn't supply them with a copy of my photo id and signature and said they would have an officer show up at my job! It's a BIG TIME SCAM - don't fall for it.

TO ALL: THE SAME AREA CODE 646 HAS BEEN CALLING ME TO BUT THE NUMBER IS DIFFRENT 6466265543, I WAS SPEAKEN TO TWO MALES OVER THE PHONE. ALL THEY TOLD ME THAT IM GOING TO JAIL BECAUSE I  DID NOT PAY A $3000.00 LOAN,  THAT WAS REAL FUNNY TO ME SO I KNEW IT WAS A SCAME OR A PRANK CALLER.... SO THE NEXT TIME THEY CXALL I WILL MAKE SURE I RECORD THE CALL AND TAKE TO MY LAWER I WILL FIND OUT WHO THEY ARE. THEY MISSING WITH THE WRONG PERSON ALL I KNOW THAT NUMBER IS FROM NEW YORK  I LIVE IN TEXAS SO THEY GOT MY INFO ONLIN SOME HOW.... I HOPING THEY CALL ME AGIN B/C IM READY FOR THEM

Very heavy accent didn't even know he was speaking english until I heard the last four of my social security number being said on the message. Bob Google says there is a lawsuit against me. I doubt it! I told them to mail me something if it is true (which I know it isn't).

Wow, a man with a heavy voice call me from this number as well and stated he was a law enforcement by the name Officer Lewis. I made a police report as well THIS IS A SCAM Do not give any onformation /to them and this called took place 7/27/2010 at 9:48 am

I received the same threats and I know it is a scam ! Scary though because they had my information.

On Thursday July 29, 2010 I received a call from (646) 810-8626. He had a heavy accent claimed that he was from law enforcement. Stating that I had was accused of fraud. I report this to my debt settlement company, Your Payday Loan Help and was confirmed that it was a scam call and never give out information and when they call never answer it, report it.

I just got a call came across on the ID as 0000 so knew something strange.  Heavy Indian accent.  Says it a legal matter - threatening voice mail.  I have no intention of calling them back ...thanks to this I can see it's a total scam.  Thanks for the info.

I have been receiving a call from this number for about a month.  They called my job and left a message with the receptionist, which really angers me.  I plan on contacting the BBB about this.

i received a call from a gentleman with a very heavy accent stating his name was JIM SANDERS and that he had some legal matter he needed to discuss with me and he couldnt speak of it over my voicemail.  he was very hard to understand, and i have received a call like this before and was told by the Fedral Trade Commissioner that they do not have the right to threaten or use of legal action against you.  this needs to be addressed with them as a scam and harrassment.

I just got a call from 646-810-8626 Jake Tyler.  Same type of message telling me I am in legal trouble and I need to retain an attorney or give him money. THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE.  Beware!!
