Caller was a fast talker and foreign.  I did not trust this caller and should have hung up on him.  When I asked him his name he gave an American name as they all do and he gave an odd message to pass on to someone that would be checking into our hotel. Message was; mainly organic and some paid (drugs?).  Then he asked for me to repeat the message.  Because we are a hotel brand I had to be polite.  I asked what his phone number and he would not give it (have to wonder if he was recording my voice).  I had the phone number on our phone and asked him what company he worked for he said IBM.  All lies.  Do not trust the foreign, suspicious request calls.

This number called my work number. Asked my name (which I gave as it was work number) and then hung up. I called back and he hung up on me without speaking. Indian-sounding caller. (Work with a lot of Indians and recognize the accent.)

Called my work number (landline phone. No idea how they got it. It is not published anywhere!) Knew my name and position at the company and said they worked for IBM and wanted to invite me to a webinar about the work I do. Heavy Indian accent. Really freaky.

Had a heavy Indian accent, claimed she worked at Google, and stated my name and title and firm. Then asked to email me an invitation to a conference. I declined.

I got a call from Jenny who wanted to talk to one of our directors. She said that she was from IBM. I said I could take her information down and pass it along to the director, but she pressed me for a way to connect to him. I almost transferred her until I saw this post. When I told her her only option was to go through me, she said that she could not share the information that she had with me and hung up.

Rang 5 times. 1st call pass a message to his boss who was coming to stay- no reservation under that name said he was Nick. Rang back looking to book a room- said Paul. I told him there was only a single room . Rang back from +1545878193 to book same dates for 8 people for the single room.  Rang back twice I ignored then again from 1st number as if it was his first time calling asking about availability tried to book I said no. No calls since
