got a phone call 10 min ago called it back and got a LIVE PERSON, asked to have my phonenumber removed, they said no problem was very polite, said they are a marketer for many companys the list is to long to type and were offering services

i have gotten three calls a day from this company, i finually got a real person to answer the phone and it is some kind of advertising company, i asked the woman to be removed from their list, she was very polite, then said, ok, it will be atleast thirty(30) days until your name can be removed and hung up.
what the hell is that?
and why do they have a do not call in effect if these people can still harrass others?

get this number at least once a day, this is a place of business so i called to ask that they please remove us from thier list, but of course i can't ever get through.  very, very frustrating.

I'm getting calls as well from this number. I guess all the phone spammers have moved to Canada to avoid the US do not call list.

What's really sad is that enough people must respond to make this profitable.

This number calls every day and no matter what we do, they will not stop.

They called me and I say no, but they never stop.

these idiots call five or six times a day. sometimes with seconds of my not answering they call again and again

I also get at least 2 calls a day.  Usually in the morning and at late evening.  We need a law that prevents offshore companies from calling the do not disturb list.

I got two calls from this number, from TORONTO, ONTARIO.
I am in the US, so why am I getting calls from this number?
I do not have free international calling, so I would appreciate it someone tell this company to quit calling people that are not even in Canada.
It cost, BIG bucks, that I don't have.

Jan 30, 2009.  Three calls today.  Have caller ID.  Will not leave a message. answered first call.  sounded like foreign language with some interference in the background.  Did not talk to person.  They would not respond.  Annoying.  How many more times will they interfere with us.  Cannot register with Canadian DoNotCall.  Have to have a valid Canadian phone #.  How do I stop this?

We get a call from this number several times a day. It is getting old. The caller ID says Ontario.

Called the number.  Said the were Canadian...yeah right.  Anyway, said they would remove me from list but it would take 30 days and that if I were on thier other lists, it would not effect those lists.

Received a call from this number 20 minutes ago. Already dealing with the outrageous, deceitful, infuriating company "NCO" so I opted NOT to answer. Researched both the number and "Omega Direct" that appeared on my caller ID; little luck with the supposed company name but numerous displeased posts for the number, such as this site.

As with KKT I too attempted to register with the Canadian DoNotCall and my Uunited States (UNLISTED!) number was regected. I believe we have yet another company here that needs to be taken to the cleaners.

Caller ID says, "Toronto, Canada." I don't know anyone in Canada. Another website says that this call is from Bank of America. Go to their website. Call their 800 number and bug them!!!!!!!!

They just called me!!!! I asked if she works for Omega Direct and she said yes!!!!!!! Go to their Canadian website. Email them to stop calling you. Then report the call to the FTC.

I'm sorry to say that the call I received on the 4th was not an isolated incident. Omega Direct has called again this morning; twice, actually. When I saw the name and number on caller ID I let it ring (our answering machine is turned off) and after the call was cancelled, less than 60 seconds later lo and behold they called back! Must have thought I was in the shower and couldn’t get to the phone the first time.

I don't answer calls that I don't recognize on the caller ID.  As far as I am concerned if one is calling someone, they need to identify who they are..  Anyway, I received a call from this number for 3 days in a row and did not answer.  They don't leave a message.
