Some one from Woodbridge called saying i won 1 of 5 prizes, and i needed to come to 6175 hwy 7 to claim my prize, the name on the e-mail was Terry Beltre. After checking this site i found that it was a timeshare scam, no prizes at all. I'm glad i didn't travel from hamilton to claim my fake prize lol. They also said they got my info from a ballot i filled out at the hamilton wingfest lol

These people are the dirtiest of the dirty. I actually DID attend one of their scaminars a few months ago where my wife and I were greeted by one of ther reps and offered access to a website where we could buy all sorts of things at discounted prices - all for the price of something like $7000! During the hour or so that we were there, several planted "new customers" were honoured with applause from the staff there. At one point, a plump obese woman got up on their little stage and performed what seemed to be some sort of motivational routine designed to entice the audience into forking over their cash to these charlatans. This was up in Woodbridge. They told me that I had filled out a form at the Stretsville Bread & Honey Festival (which I may or may not have). Like I mentioned at the beginning, I attended one of their sessions a few months ago and left disgusted. I guess they are running low on prey because they called me again tonight. Please understand that the guarantee of 1 in 5 prizes is a hoax. After you sit down at a table with one of the ex-cons/crackheads/failures and refuse all of their ridiculous offers, you are escorted out to the entrance where you pick a ballot. 10 times out of 10 you will pick the vacation offer (a trip to Niagara Falls) which is another scam altogether. So, unless you are interested in seeing how such a scam is run (like I was), then do not waste your time. Stay home with your family.

    Me!
The lady said I won a prize because of a contest I entered almost a year ago. She was very unprofessional, she actually sounded like a criminal with poor grammar, I could totally picture her trying to sell me stolen goods in a back alley. Anyway, it all sounded sketchy to me. Apparently I'd have to drive to Woodbridge in the next two days, guaranteed to win one of the following prizes:

--Big screen plasma tv (apparently they have "like 5 different brands to choose from")
    --$1500 cash

She sounded crass from the beginning, but became rude when I started asking questions about the legitimacy of the company and the contest, that I had never had to drive to another city to select a prize for any contest I'd ever won before. Then she started getting pissed off, saying, "Well it sounds like you don't even want the prize if you're not willing to drive to Woodbridge, it's only an hour drive!"

I told her that she sounded sketchy, her company sounded sketchy, that I wasn't coming, and that I was going to report her company to the Better Business Bureau. She quickly hung up.

Glad to read these reports, it's a total time share scam. It sucks because I'm sure they prey on a lot of unsuspecting people. She told me for sure I won the tv or the cash. What a liar.

Thanks all for sharing your experience. I just got the call too. In fact last night my hubby got it, but the line was so bad and all he heard was he won a prize at the Markham Home Show, which we did attend in mid March but he didn't fill out a ballot (I did instead) so he asked the lady to call back while he would discuss with me; around 6 the lady called and this time I picked up the phone, heard what the lady said (Indian accent?) - my hubby won a prize and he has to choose among a 42" flat screen TV, $1500 cash, laptop, etc. (her accent is hard to comprehend), guaranteed to get one prize, etc. and all he needs to do is attend a show with me - there's one at 7 tonight but I can attend tomorrow's 7pm show if the time is too tight. I asked what show it is, she said it's Premier Direct, I said I've not heard about that. She kept saying after the show we can pick a prize and no credit card number or whatever is required. I said, wow, it's too good to be true and she chuckled. She then asked if we are over 30 yrs old, and then our household income, I said I don't think I need to answer these questions, then she said since she is not asking for credit card info she needs something to record and make sure we are not lying. Then she asked me to wait while she would transfer me to the manager who would give me the code to attend the show and claim the prize. I cut the line during the wait and googled the phone number - glad that I saw the posts here. She called back 4-5 times after but I ignored it.

I call them back!  The woman that answered was very evasive.  She would not give me any information other than the company gives awards.  Awards for what??  She had no answer.  I complained that I had received several calls from this company (PB Direct).  The response was "we have several employees with access to phones".

Obviously, this is a scam and police should be involved.

I'd like to find out how we can find out where they are getting our information from? I also attended the Toronto Sportsman Show at the MT Convention Centre. I did purchase ballots from a few organisations and I think that is where the crux of it lies. Which organisation did I donate my money to who then turned around and sold my information to?

Man with south asian accent called my cell in the evening saying I was at the Toronto home show and the filled-in ballot was drawn with my contact information.  And I was claimed a prize.

I did not go to Toronto home show in my life and I quickly realized it was a scam.

    They just called me today...

They told me I won 1 of 5 prizes and that they are going to call me tomorrow. They told me that I entered a contest at the Barrie Waterfront Festival.

How would you get the police involved in a scam like this? I don't that they got my information like that.....
