I just received a phone call from this number, I picked up but nobody answered.

I didn't answer, but the caller left a message about the Almond Butter I had purchased at Costco. Apparently there is a recall due to Salmonella

They said a calendar company.    Seems odd to me, but that's what the msg said.   Maybe by calling from Ontario, Canada (or disguising it to appear so) they avoid any hassle with DoNotCall list.  Of course, I've never heard of any company being troubled by DoNotCall infractions.  Looks like a 'normal' fed thing... setup an agency program to look good, then do nothing with it.  Probably diverting funds to something else.  

A person called we could not hear what it was all about.

I called back , (it replied we're sorry we cannot reach that number as dialed)

I just got a call from this number it was a recording I think. It was about a web thing and if I was ripped off.I have no idea what it was about. Reporting it to nocall

I recieved a call this morning from that number. It was a recorder and asked me to send them by fax my insurance information about my lease with Honda... Am I the first to receive that kind of message?

got a call from this number -- someone on the line listening but not responding -- when called back got a recording that this number does not exist. -- just another scammer

This number just called me and said they were from Costco doing a food recall from "Farmer's Foods". The lengthy voicemail saying that their records show I had been shopping in May (which is accurate!) and that I need to throw out all broccoli, cheese, and chicken... ? Obviously they are not actually Costco so I don't understand what kind of scam this is supposed to be.

Did not respond to the call. But a message was left from Costco. They said I am in their list of customer (never went there in my life...) and they warn me about some chicken I have bought that may contain bacteria...
Still wonder how they get my number and why the protected list from the government is useless...

It is a voluntary recall from Costco, automated message stating to not consume a certain product and return it for full refund.

I didn't answer but a man from Costco left a message about a recall on margarine possibly infected by salmonella.

I received a call from this number, but nobody answered.  I did not have Costco membership, or have the number registered with Costco.

Picked up but nobody answered.
