one call every ten minutes for an hour or so towards the end of the business day, with just a beep and then a hangup.  Since I am lying down on doctor's orders, by myself at home, I don't need this aggravation of having to rouse myself to answer the phone to see if it is my wife calling.

Unwanted calls

Some [removed:lang] calls me, keeps saying hello... hangs up

He calls me back an hour later and I ask politely "Hi, can you please remove my number from the calling list?"

Him: "No."

Me: "And why would that Be?"

Him: "*heavy breathing*...*hangs up*"

Needless to say, I added them to my call filtering.

Some [removed:lang] called my number and I answered "Hello???" in my own language twice and continuously, before stopping a few seconds and answering for one last time, and then, I FINALLY got a "YES (FILL IN LAST NAME)" from this [***]!!! ARGH...!!! AT LEAST they've wasted A LOT of money on their cellphone bills!!! HAHAHA!!!

have called me 3 times today and not said anything when I answered. I am recovering from surgery and don't need this invasion of privacy, and annoyance.
So I called them back. The recorded message says " You have called a number that doesn't exist. Are you sure you called the right number?"

(yes, I am on the do-not-call list and have been for years.)

All I know is this is a royal pain. Called it back and got a message:

"Looks like the number is powered off or out of juice. Try again later."

It is a phone number that goes through Globalive Wireless Mgmnt. Corp., which is, I believe, WIND....So, I am assuming, it's a cell phone.

Would, just once, like someone to actually be on the other end of the line when I answer it....
