FRAUD- A lady named Ashley told me to call her back on this number once i receive a «training package» in the mail to begin a mystery shopping assignment.  They must be getting desperate because she said they pay $300 dollars per assignment.  They want you to deal with western union, pretend your wiring money to a family member in order to evaluate their service....then go back at a later date and get a refund... western union by the way is not responsible for lost funds...

Ive had the same lady and number offering the same thing. I filed a police report today. Crazy lunatics!!!

Crazy [***] is offering a mystery shopper position and her number is 647-862-7671 She wants to pay 300$ per assignment and you have to go to. Western Union to do an assignment... Don't fall for this B'S job offer its a scam be careful people hername is Ashley...

Responded to mystery shopper position on line and was contacted by Ashley (number 647-862-7671). Yes $300 per assignment and I could keep the purchases made.

A couple of days after she called I received a cheque for $2,498 in the mail and more information about which company's I would be investigating. The letter head identified the company as Goodyear Environics Research Group 33 Bloor St. E Toronto. I did an internet search and no such company exists (the Goodyear name was a warning flag). There is a Environics Research Group at 33 Bloor St and when I went on their website there is a warning posted that they are not recruiting mystery shoppers nor do they send out cheques in the mail. The cheque on closer examination does not have a hologram symbol that all business cheques now carry.

Too good to be true - and it was!  

i got caught  in this situation and will be reporting them to the  police.

Got in this mess too!!!  Too good to be true!!!  Desperate for money no job etc.....  Her name was Monica Lewis posing as a field agent for Goodyear Environics Research Group.  Her number is 647-485-8986 she works with Ashley at 647-862-7671.  Same instructions go to bank deposit cheque and go to Western Union then 2 department stores.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.  I am about to loose it all because of these 2 inhumane people.  I am a single mother and have to pay back $7494.00 I don't have this kind of cash, I barely have enought to get by.  Shame on them I hope no I know what comes around goes around and some day they will have a nasty ending.  That's what gives me piece of mind.  2 young girls able to work but with no remorse.  Watch out  GIRLS I would hate to live my life like that looking over my shoulders from the time I wake up till the time I go to sleep.  One day you will pay!!  Sorry about your luck right Ashley!  Those were her last words to me!  COLD BI***

Same situation....I was contacted by Stacy Moore (416-836-3649), called ID she shows up on my phone as Sarah Heart. I'm a student that was looking for a side job. I was lucky I found this board before I pursued this any further. Thanks guys!! SCAM! Do not fall for Good Year Evironics Research Group, they do not exist!!

I too was scammed by this person posing as a secret shopper recruiter. Her name is Brianna Smith and contacted me after I applied for the position. I had recently lost my job and was desperate. I sadly am owing 4996 dollars with a bank who is a far cry from understanding. I have nothing now, no Christmas for my kids and not sure how I am even going to buy food. Please be mindful of anything thst sounds too good to be true- chances are, it is.

There is now a lady name Brianna Smith calling from 647-879-3622  makes it sound good but I refused to cash a cheque that size without it being certified or a money order.  She had a good come back for that but I still refused.  Said I would let the cheque clear my account first but was not willing to take my own funds out in the meantime.  Call ended.

Just this day ireceived a callwith that same name.. Good, i bumped this thread.. Brianna Smith is her name .. Number is 647 879 3622.. Oh holy. She said many promising things like to pay me 300 per assgnment and a check of 1,000 for the fund..

I received a phone call from the same person and she asked me to do exactly what she asked the other people. Her phone number is:647 832 5980. I refused to cash the cheque and asked her either deposit the same amount into my account or wait 4 business day until the fund gets clear. She refused to either wait or deposit cash into my account. she even contacted me the day after and I told her that this is an absolute scamming. She said if you think this is an scamming I will offer this position to somebody else. I said go a head and I am sure pretty soon you will end up to jail. I am going to report it to police.
