I got a recorded message from some guy who garbled his name, said he was calling on behalf of CRA and then he wanted me to call this number. So I googled it instead.

I got the same recorded message with someone threatening all sorts of things if my "lawyer" didn't return the call. It's a total scam. The person tries to bully u into giving them your cc info etc. Ignore them.

Got a call twice this morning from this number claiming they are from the CRA and to call them back or have my attorney call them. The CRA has a post on their website stating that there are scams like this a to disregard.

automated message from a male saying he an agent from CRA.

I got the same message from this number. The guy is threatening on the phone. Sound really scary.     I was thinking to call the police, glad I googled it first.

Same thing.

Fraud artists claiming to be from CRA using scary tactics to get me to call back and likely to get me to wire money to them in some untraceable way.  Too bad the police do nothing if you don't fall for this abd then are powerless once you do give them money.

Got a threatening call from this # everyone knows about the scam why is nothing done? Spent tax dollars on protecting
vulnerable people.

Called this # and called him a scam, thief, low life his response was "I will take all your money from your bank, check your account money will be gone".

SCAM!!!! Prerecorded message from the Canada revenue agency stating this phone call is for me (doesn't mention my name or anyone else who lives here) and that I must call back or they will pursue legal action. 647 873 1147 If you receive this message or a similar one either google the number or log onto the cra website before taking any action. please feel free to troll this number

I received the same call.  Report them to the RCMP fraud reporting number at 1-888-495-8501

Got a recorded message from 647-873-1147. Guy sounded like he had a watered down jamaican accent. Stating don't ifnore this call or things will unfold badly for me. Sounded threatening and aggressive.  Googled the nimber and found this thread.

I received this call also,  really scared me when the man was so agressive when I questioned him.
I'm so happy I Googled this number to hear I'm not alone!!!!

Caller says he is from CRA and is aggressive and threatening.
