They called me and told me im guaranteed an absolute prize of either an ipad 3, lg 60 inch tv, 1200 dollars shopping spree, or a 4 night stay in niagara falls all I would have to do is go to a dinner with my spouse. I cant make the times they asked me to so I asked if I could just pick up the prize. He said no, so I asked if I could come alone, he said no it is a couples only event. So then I told him it makes no sense at all how I was getting a prize but couldn't get anything unless I attended the dinner? Said it sounds a little fishy. When I got the address from him where it is, I searched it on google maps and it's in an industrial area. Next time he calls me I will throw down on the phone and call him out on his BS!

Not a scam. Marketing strategy to get potential clients to learn their business .
    They sell vacation. 'Packages. '
    It's cheap. Yup. Dirt cheap.
Well... After u pay the 16000 ( yup.. Sixteen thousand dollar  fee) u get hotel accomidation for many participating hotels .
    Is it worth it?

    Who knows .

It's a now or never deal.
They don't allow u to 'think on such an investment'
They don't offer a hotel stay at one of the participating hotels... They offer the commercial places.
They convince u it's a great offer but you tell them what price you are willing to pay to get this deal.
Oh.. And the rooms.. Are pretty crap if you investigate further online . They only highlight the nicer ones.

    Remember, it's only hotel .
U have to still pay flight to get there.
It's a serious investment.. That they hard sell u... I feel sorry for those who were naive to buy and now sell weeks to friends and family to recover the 16k.

But.. Whatever ... Go get entertained if u want to hear poor marketing .

The dinner is to introduce and sell you into a hotel plan - it's a cheaper sandals hotel idea.
My friend and her boyfriend went, said it was a good dinner (free next to gas and time) and they were introduced to this guaranteed hotel booking program.  It's roughly $25,000 for the VIP plan and that covers you for life.  Then it goes down from there.  They won a 4 night stay in Niagara Falls - I have a feeling though that all participants will win that.  And the hotel is part of their package.  All in All, if you don't want to waste your time, and rarely use hotels - Don't go and ask to be on the DNC list.  They call me daily, and sometimes twice a day.  Just my advice!!

You're right.  Go to one of these "free dinners" and the dessert will be a high pressure sales pitch.  It will be the most expensive dinner of your life.

They phoned my business...a law office.  No message.  I usually phone back all calls as they could be a potential client or something else important.   In this case, I will just ignore it.

read this. husband and i will go for the free dinner and suffer through the presentation. it looks like you still get the "prize" without any committment as long as you fulfill the 3 requirements, so we'll give it a try and report back. the dinner is on Thursday 3/13 at 8pm.
we also entered a contest at one of the festivals and the booth looked amazing-ipads everywhere to fill out your info, cool looking survey, the car was there... too bad it's just another marketing scheme.

Thanks for all your comments. I was going to go to that tricky place tomorrow at 5. The only difference is that the address is different now they are in 1585 Britannia road east. They asked me to stay there for 80 minutes. I wasn't sure if it was true. They called me and said that I was one of the 89 winners from St. Clair festival's 2014. They offered to me $650 to expend in Canadian Tire and a dinner. They asked me about my income, if I was married, in common law or engaged; if I eat meat more than three  days per week; and if I expend more than $100 in groceries weekly. Then a second person with an Indian accent talked to me saying that he was the supervisor of the first person and asked me the same questions and told me that I have to be there for 80 minutes :$. I am happy that I found this website and avoid to see these thieves. Just blocked them!!!

I knew something was up when they were asking me stuff like groceries and whether I eat meat. I lied through my teeth there just to get it done and over with. The prize is too good to be true.

I just got a called from "Canadian Foods Services" saying I was one of 84 people who won a prize and a guaranteed dinner for 2 and that I had to go to Mississauga to have that dinner and a prize include $850 gift card to Home Depot, $900 cash, $800 gift card to leons or brick, 4 day, 3 night hotel stay in Niagara Falls, and a Samsung Android tablet. Apparently, I entered a draw at the Scarborough Ribfest in June and they drew my name. Sounds too good to be true. They also asked me whether I was married or commonlaw, if i ate meat at least 4 times a week and does one of the days include red meat. It sounded too good to be true. Glad I found this page. Gonna block the number!
