It's td bank not sure if it's a scam or not

Recieved a call just recently from this number. They try to assure you that its a live person (but its a robot). They tried to get some information from me but I hung up. Beware.

The call started off by a lady speaking and asking if it was (my name). Then it switches to the robot which was male.

Received 2 calls from +1 (647) 943-3597 yesterday evening (November 14th) at 5:47pm and 7:47pm. I answered both times and it was a male named "Brian" from TD Bank, who asked if they were speaking with me and I said yes, he started to ask for my information and then the call cut out. Same thing happened the second time. I called my bank a few minutes later and they confirmed that this was a scam and that there was no record of anyone from TD Bank trying to get a hold of me.

I got the same call from the same number, I answered and there was a robot trying to make sure it is me on the other side of line! I'll not answer it again

I'm getting the call from this number almost everyday and when i pick up no one says anything.

Me and my wife have been getting calls from 647-943-3597 constantly. They are trying to sell some sort of identity theft protection and they say that they are calling on behalf of TD Canada. The caller is a guy who tells his name Brian. When I called back on a missed call he started telling me about they service and asked me the exact spelling of my name. I told him I am not interested. They call dropped and when I called again there was a tape playing and it gave me an option to opt out of their list. I did so. However, I contacted TD Canada and they have advised me to report it to phishing@td.com. This is what I am going to do now.

I received calls from this number from last weekend.. I answer and no one at the other end respond.. Thanks for the info i blocked this caller now..

This number  called me few minutes ago asking for my husband.  I said to him that my husband was working, he said he would contact him again at evening to But I won't answer it.  This person didn't say his name.

I am getting calls every day now, also strange emails pretending to be CRA. I wonder if there is a relation?

Received a call from this number (6479433597) - male voice called my name twice, then the call got cut off.

Got a call from a guy saying he was TD. Knew it was dodgy. Hung up. Scam!

This number has been calling me for 3 days in a row, & at an average of 2 calls a day. A guy is looking for my wife & saying it is TD credit card. At first I thought it was legit, but when I told the guy if I can provide him another number, as my wife was not  around , he said he'll call again. I was suspicious then , because the number is like a cellular #. Thank you for posting this.

Keep getting calls from this number. Finally picked one up this morning at 9:37am. A guy asked for me (have a feeling they just took  my name from my voicemail), told me that the call was being recorded, that they were calling from TD Credit Card and that they needed to ask me some questions. I told them I was busy and at work so I couldn't talk. Hung up and, feeling creeped out by the 647 number, blocked them. Thanks for everyone else who posted what I suspected! Don't bother answering - just block and enjoy the rest of your day.

got it 5 times last 2 days never answered and never will

Claims he's from TD Canada , it's a scam.
