calling for what reason at 830am?

Caller ID states Blocked Number and they leave no message. I called back and the business was Northland Group INC.. the area code is San Mateo county CA.  Specialist in collecting really old debts, that they have bought really cheaply.

call often, and maybe like 3 times through out the day...northland llc, debt collector of old debts. shows up as either private caller or out of the area.

when I answer, there is a pause, no sound for 4-6 seconds.... I hang up. They call as early as 8am. im in california

garbage callers, call day and night.  I told them to stop, have FTC complaint.  They still call.

Are apparently debt collectors. I have had this phone # for over 10 years and no one has ever lived at my residence by the name they want.

I asked not to be recorded anymore and they said would call back from a different number, but they never did.
Apparently they are immune to a Cease and Decist order.
If only I could take them to court....

Got a call from this Debt Collection Agency. First offerd to settle for $5800.00 then came down to $3000.00 Finally to $20.00 per month. Gave me a P O Box # in Edina MN to mail the Money Order to.

Please , How can we stop these calls??
I have never been in debt.
I think they are looking for whom ever had my phone #

Called at my work cell phone.  Have had the phone number for 2.5 years.  they keep calling for someone else... And say they will take me off of their list.  Why do they keep calling???

I just got a call from this company, 650-230-1969. They asked for my husband. I asked them what was this in reference to. They said are you your husband? No then it's none of your business. I told them it is my business. He is my husband & that any & all calls are being recorded, if you choose not to be recorded any longer please hang up at any time. At this point any & all information you give can & will be use against you in a court of law. I asked do you know your rights? As I have stated to you. Please continue with your first, last & employee ID #. They hung up.

just reporting it.  this number keep calling hanging up, saying nothing at all following a hang up. Wheeez I am tired of them
