i keep getting text messages about something called netspend. i dont have anything that connects my cell to facebook. i think maybe the person who had my number before did but i just responded stop and they stopped

I don't know about text messages but that number is facebook...I called them several times today about $1200 worth of charges that appeared on my credit card.  Charges looked like this

Police Report filed, address obtained of this fradulant outfit

this is the number that showed up on my bank acct after 4 charges of 80.40 each were taken by this number and facebook.com
No one called us, this was done without us providing any information at all. Made a police report.

Appeared on daughters account (Facebook. 650-543-7818) the instant she clicked on a link appearing in her Face book account. Took a $200.00 withdraw, but pending. I called Bank hoping to freeze the account.

On the 27th of Jan. 2014, a charge of 679.53 was made against my credit card/bank account. I did not authorize this and I don't even know how they got my card number.... Beware

Just saw today on my credit card statement a transaction for USD $1592. with the description "FACEBK *QL6BF6WDG2 650-543-7818". I have informed my bank and they are investigating it. From what I can gather this scam has been happening since 2010. Lots of people reporting bogus transactions and quoting this number from their statement.

Can't believe I have to tell you to call your bank and dispute the charge.

i just got $90 ADDED to my account from these scammers, nothing deducted?!?!? wth?!  im still cancelling my card , but how weird! im so sorry this happened to you all.

Most likely the deposit was not real.  Have you checked your other accounts to see if $90 is missing.  I suspect they might be trying to get ahold of you in the future to get you to return the money.
