Same here. It says on my phone it's from Palo Alto, California.... WTH?

When i take it says welcome to viber -.-

called 5 time last night...

WTF!! they called me twice in 15 min and they send me a TXT msg from +17242361067

The company is www.viber.com they offer an Voip  application for Iphone and Android.

they have not Phone # at their website.

And I will never download the application or register with them, a company that use spam as  marketing for sure its not a trust able company

got a call at 6 am to from them says it was vibor and here was my verification code called back to tell them to stick it and it was busy  still looking for away to get ahold of them

well they do have a face book link that i just left a message on there saying how rudely they conduct business here it is,maybe if theres enough public complaints on there site theyll go away http://facebook.com/viber

I got a call from an unknown Caller  at 2:24 pm but did not leave anything for voicemail but now reading the comments I know know it's Viber.

left vocie mail and asked  you press the no? Be caution!!!!!

Same issue, a text with some weird access code type thing and then starting calling. It's a company named Viber. I have an android and I wonder how they got my phone number.

650-618-9523 called my house at 1:05 AM on 8/15/2012.  "Please hang up and enter the following validation code."  It repeats the code about 4 times and then disconnects.

They call to give you a verification code to activate your viber account. They only do it if you tell them to and don't call randomly to market stuff. So the ones complaining about Viber, you either a) told them to call you for the code or b) someone is screwing with you by entering your number.
