Got a call from calling ID unavailable. When I liston to the message the person calling said she was from GMAC and that the call was for Gregory and it was very important that I return this call. When I called them back they would give me no information on how or why they had my number or what was so important that I call them.

Is this a gimmick or what?

The Bankruptcy Center - according to their answering system

its the Bankruptcy center for ALLY and a few others. if you file a bankruptcy and have a vehicle loan thru Ally, National, Nuvell or Suzuki, they would be who you need to talk to.

This is accurate.  They regularly call my offices to verify representation.

No more information that I can add

I had several missed calls to my work from Ally Financial at this number.  When I call back, they tell me they are from the "Deceased Accounts Division" and ask about my recently deceased family member (I have none).  Then they ask about my most recent vehicle purchase through Ally (I have none).  Every time, they "lose" my info and aren't sure why they called me.
