I got a call (I live in Iowa), and I did not answer the call.  I called them back at 10:00 pm.  Said it was a US Bank switchboard.  No clue if it is legit

I don't know who it is, makes sense if it is USBank though. Seems like they've been trying extra hard lately to get me to a bank acct with them (I only have their credit card).

I got a call from a fraudster from this number, DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION.  When in doubt, call US Bank back at a number you know is valid.

got call checked it out said it was a lawyer working out of US Bank.  I do not have an account with them, my son does.

I did not answer.  After reading remarks on this site, I am leery of any calls from this number.

I did not answer and they just keep calling, it must have something to do with business though since they never call after 5 pm Central.

Missed the call initially, called back.  It was the US Bank operator switch board.  They said they cannot tell me who called me initially.  And if they didn't leave a message, to not be concerned about it.

called 1/16/08 and 2/11/08 and didn't leave a message.

Called me on 02/13/08.  I answered the call and they hung up.  That's what led me to search the Internet for the number and found this website.  I doubt it is legit.

I received this call twice today. Once during business hours and once after. (6:30 Pacific) I live in Oregon and Bank with US Bank. No message was left. I will be going to a credit union tomorrow because US Bank is either not keeping my information safe or selling it to the highest bidder.

called 3/1/08 and 3/3/08 2:20PM (EST),did not leave a message.

Called 3/7/08 2:15pm. They didn't leave a message, this is the second time they called, last time they said they were from the USBank and they were trying to sell me overdraft protection for $750. I just told the guy I wasn't interested but now that I think about it I don't think is legitimate.

called 3/8/08 at 12:45.  when i answered, they hung up, and when i called back a recording said "the person you are trying to reach is unavailable."

They called me and when I answered I got no response. They have not called back yet. I do work at US Bank though...

Received a call from this number at 8 pm. Didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message. I do have an account with US Bank, but it is in good standing and there is no cause for concern regarding my account. This is obviously some sort of scam and I'm now glad I didn't answer. Bottom line: don't give anyone calling from this number any personal information!

I received a phone call from this number at 8pm during a final exam for school. I rejected the phone call being that it was not from a number I recognized and the caller did not leave a message. I later turned to researching the number and found that it was registered with US Bank. I have a personal check and credit and a business check account with them, all of which are in very good standing. Once I found out that it was registered with US Bank, I logged into my internet banking to see if I had any fraudulent transactions and found none. I've had my accounts for well over 2 years now and I have never received any kind of tele-marketing calls about them so I'm suspecting that this was in fact a fraudulent call.

received call at 18:48 pacific today. no message was left. I have a US bank checking account and a credit line account. I used to live in Minnesota. I checked my account activity online and could not find anything unusual. I did recently get approved for a loan for a boat with a different bank. I suspect this is a telemarketing effort of some sort.

I have received these calls on a semi-frequent basis over the span of approximately two months now. After this last time I googled the number and found this site. I decided to call back and investigate. A live person answered the phone and said that it was not regarding my account (I bank with US Bank) or anything like that. It was a courtesy call to see whether I am happy or not with the services they are providing me. Is this a scam? I do not know. As a good rule of thumb, I never answer incoming calls that I am unfamiliar with. Just let the voicemail pick it up. If there is no message then there is no worry.
