This is now the (India) that used to call using unknown name/unknown number. They are saying something (malicious software) is on your computer and they are calling to help you get rid of it. Do not/not do anything with these people. I worked with computer my whole life and they finally hung up on me while questioning them. Do not go into your computer and do anything they tell you to do. They are trying to access your computer. No company (Microsoft, etc) will ever call to fix anything that is wrong...ever.

Same as previous post...caller stated there was an issue with my Microsoft Windows PC earlier today and I needed to go to my PC so they could help repair.  Claimed to be from Microsoft Support.  Unfortunately for them we don't OWN a Microsoft PC.  Refused to divulge their real parent company, supervisor tried to tell me maybe my Apple  was impacted by using a Windows link to the internet.  Big scam...supervisor finally hung up when I continued to refuse to log into my computer.  Oh, yeah...call came in at 9:50pm?!?!?

This number called me saying they were from Windows Technical Support. SERIOUSLY...I literally just lost my job and hate my life and I get a call from an idiot company trying to tell me that hackers are hacking my computer? What the hell.

I was informed by an woman with an obvious foreign accent that it was Windows Technical Dept calling to report a problem with my computer....I started laughing and said "good try illegal scammer"...and hung up...I'm still laughing.

Got a call from this number. .guy had a pretty heavy accent.   Wanted to help me with my computer.
I hung up on him.  Knew it was a scam.

Just got the same (number) call , second time today.  Started at 9:30 AM.    They've been pestering me for a LONG time.    I cussed them out once.  LOL  He said "Did you just use profanity at me?"   I said "No, you just don't understand my English!"  :)

Our local News7 (Colorado) did a news blurb on this RACKET.    One word:  DANGEROUS!!!!!

Our Local 7 News (Colorado) did a piece on this call , that warned how very, very DANGEROUS this call is.    They have been pestering me for months on end.     I have a very serious foot injury, and these calls are murder on my health.    Also, others have sick and dying relatives, who need the liberty of having a SCAM - FREE phone, that we PAY for.

Shame on the FCC for allowing this CRAP to go on.     Shame on them!

it is about 10:30 pm, and my phone just rang with number on my caller ID. I do not know anyone in MN. When I called back I get a recording, this number is not in service. RED FLAG! Glad I googled and got this info. Must be a scam of some sort, no known business would call after 10pm! Beware!

Just got a call from the same scammer. Very heavy Indian accent. She claimed to be from Microsoft help. I didn't find that believable. She said I had a new virus on my Windows computer every time I used it. I replied how interesting considering I don't even use Windows computers. I called her a scammer. There was silence, then the line went dead.

Another call from these scammers.  I see they are working from more than one phone number now.  Yesterday I got a hang up from them and today when I answered it was silent and then a phone ran and some foreigner was saying he was from Windows Microsoft and there was something on my computer that they had to take care of....really...when my girlfriend let them take care of something on her computer it was hacked and caused a lot of problems and she had to buy a new computer.  I played along with them but didn't give any information...just wasted their time...when I was done wasting their time I quietly pushed the off button on my phone.

Received call from Twin Falls, Mn. Man had Indian accent. Identified self as being with Microsoft. Asked if I was the primary user of the computer. Said they have received error messages from my computer. I hung up on him.

Keep getting calls from this Indian accented idiot claiming to be the Technical Department of Windows operating system. He wanted to take control of my computer to clean viruses. When I told him I don't have a computer he said "Oh my god" and hung up.

I did not answer because I did not know the number.

I am on the National "Do not call list" yet I constantly get solicitation calls.  This latest number keeps calling me.  I do not answer because I know it is from a scammer who says they are calling from Microsoft Support and I have a virus.
My son is a Tech support person and he just told me he had to do a complete factory restore for a customer who let these strangers access his computer remotely.  My son said it is the only way to be sure you get everything off.

When they called my house they tried to only speak to the children of the house and then have them do what they wanted them to do on the computer.

My wife intervened when the caller was scaring my boy and he handed the phone over. After doing so the person on the phone was verbally abusing my wife trying to get my son back on the phone.

Whoever these people are, they are true scum and I hope that the law finds them.

I black listed them, but that they are targeting children is horrible.

I just got a call from "Edward" at Microsoft technical Dept. This is the second time and I just hung up as I did the first time last week. They just don't give up. From now on I am not even going to answer.  Just another scam.

just got a call from this number this morning,  this has been going on for over a year most of the time I don't answer I did this morning ...   wish there was some way to get these people  (I threatened them with harassment and they hung up on me!!    you have to say one thing they are persistant.
