trying to sell Pioneer Press subscription?

Just received a call from this # (third time in the past two weeks).  Delay in the guy saying hello, I said hello back, but no response.

guy just says hello-hello-hello...He never leaves a message.  

Called the number back and a recording answered, "Thank you for calling newspaper promotions." Looks like it must be the Pioneer Press like stated above.

I have subscribed to the Pioneer Press for 40 years, Why do they call me every day to get a subscription? I never answer - you'd think they would quit calling.

just got the fifth call in a week from Pioneer Press - they used three different numbers. what a nuiance!!!! I never answer, but I have to get up and get the phone to see who is calling, and that makes me mad.

Called left no message. I don't even live in MN

Just dropped the SPPP and they turned me over to these dogs. This is the second number they've used, the first one was  called A Mkt Resource at 717-7377. Glad this site helps me find out who to get revenge with.

We have signed up for the Do Not Call list, but it seems like we get MORE calls since I signed up!!

I have told the Pioneer Press repeatedly to stop calling that I am not interested. They continue to call. This is very annoying.

This number keeps calling my sons cell phone. He is young and has been instructed to not answer calls he does not recognize. How annoying! I wish telemarketers could not call cell phones.

This guy keeps calling me and I haven't picked up yet, after reading these comments I'm blocking the number.

3 days after canceling Pioneer Press, the calls started. this is 100% illegal. Please contact Lori Swanson, Mn. Attorney General. Each violation can carry a $1500.00 fine, Paid to you. The guy I talked to @ PP said his name is "Idle", in broken English. Must be what his co-workers call him! The Pioneer Press is basically harassing both home and cell phones, call 3 times a day and every day, they even placed an order without my knowledge and we started to receive the paper and I had to cancel!

This is a telemarketing company called "A Marketing Resource" which multiple newspapers contract to sell subscriptions. They are based in the St. Paul area. They regularly hire ex cons, so to find out you are getting a newspaper you did not order is not surprising. These guys work on commission and many likely don't mind "fudging" the rules to put some $$ in their pocket.
