i got a call from this number , after i reported a collection to my bank becouse the number they left me was a privte cell number so we filed a fraud on the case and the day the clam was rejected they called me funny how i could not reach or find them but when they could not get money they called me

i started getting phones calls from them sayng i owed money they knew where i worked and even started calling my work place. ive tried to call them but its just phone tag. they say their with a law firm, i smell scam!!

SCAM: I reported this number it leads back to a prepaid cell phone. It is a fake collection agency that has been being investigated for identity theft. If you receive a call from this number you should call your local authorities immediately.

Fake collection agency using prepaid phone , just disregard them. They will try to be aggressive and claim to file court documents. Then when you inform them you will wait for the court documents they will start cussing and threatening you. Better to disconnect and ignore further interaction. They do not have a valid debt. In fact they seem pretty psychotic, they kept calling my phone the entire day.

I got the same call as rennkell but I had my job give my a print out for both numbers and the amount of times I've received calls from two of the numbers including the 657-879-4569 I asked them to stop calling my job by law they are suppose to. The general counsel here on my job is helping me with this he gave me the F D C P A packet and now I'm trying to track them down to file a report with the better business.

They are breaking numerous sections of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act:

Section 805 Communication in connection with debt collection
Section 806 Harassment or abuse
Section 807 False or misleading representations ( A debt collector may not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt.) Like saying they are from the clerks office.

I recieved a call from 657.859.4569, in which I was unable to answer but a message was left.

Whom ever did not leave their name but informed me to contact Mary Lloyd.

The message was so unprofessional and generic it immediately raised red flags. In one breath he gave me a case number, said he was sending IRS documents to my employer and I don't work...weirdo and he also stated IRS papers would be mailed to my home, since when did the IRS contact a third party to make annoying calls...I don't think so.  The IRS has no problem sending you documents...LOL.  I was not amazed when I went on-line to check the number out and noticed all the other individuals that were contacted by this extremely immature and arrogant young man.  I will do as suggested wait until I receive something in the mail before I take action because he did state he had my address, which I am extremely uncomfortable with...

I totally agree ignore all future calls or better yet answer and don't say anything and just hang up...LMFAO...they will get the message to quit calling and if they are serious you will receive information in the mail.  Now that brings up another odd question, why in the world do they think I would conversant with them if I have never received anything from their office in the mail and I sure haven't received anything from Mary Lloyd.

Laughable that you want people to feel as you're a real legal company.  please!! PEOPLE, do not be fooled into paying a dime to these people.  As a former bill collector and debit management manager.  these people are the bottom feeders and embarrassment to the industry.

What a riot!  This company comes off as if they are a legitimate.  While they admitted they are just a Debt Buying Service, people DO NOT get conned into giving them ANY payment information via the phone.  They refuse to give you their company name.  (CLUE)  If there attempts and tactics are not a clue for you, then go ahead and be conned.  But keep in mind they will harass you by stating you're about to get served legal / court papers.  It's a SCARE tactic.
