Received numerous calls on my computer line (which I don't have listed) leaving messages that I need to call them regarding a situation that will unfold if I don't return their call.  Left a message by the name of James Lewis from a Division, and to have my attorney call them (off the record).  Obvious scam and harassment call! Putting James Lewis on the record publicly online!  Unethical and illegal collection practice for nonexistent bill.

Just received check the voice messages at my job.  A "Calvin Cooper" left the same message!  This pisses me off that they can do this!

They say they are with the Victor & Reid law office. I also spoke with "Calvin Cooper". The one time I spoke with them, I told them my name was James Brown. They said that name did not come up in their search at that phone number. The guy then told me he will make my life a living hell and called me a piece of sh@t.

Calling me at work telling me urgent legal situation. Foreign gentleman would not give any other info wanted personal contact info which was not given by my supervisor.  These people need stopped . They shouldn't be allowed to call and harass anyone at anytime especially at their place of employment. He would not even provide him name !!

So, They called me saying the same things. I started calling them repeatitively and now I think they blocked my number. They do not appear to like it when the tables are turned. They will not accept my call. FUNNY!!!!

Called me twice at work too my direct line they did not leave a message. Back in August my checking account was hacked and I had to close a 15 year old account and open a new one, at the advise of the bank after their investigation. I no longer answer any calls that I do not recognize. I did contact my states Attorney Generals office they replied to me promptly and gave some very good advise 1.DO NOT answer calls from people you do not know. 2. re-list your phone numbers on the Do not call registry and most importantly 3. REPORT them, this is the only way they know and if the number comes up enough an investigation will be done.
This number will be reported as well.

That same number with a man name Jack Lewis has left me that same message repeatively & is calling my job as well. I am getting fed up him. What can i do to make it stopp? & another question is how do they get my number when my number is not listed?

I am going thru this as I am writing this comment, James Lewis from Victor and Reid law office has called saying that I will be arrested today at noon concerning a fraud online transaction that I did an I owe them $485, I never received anything from anyone and I know who I am. Really frustrated, nomerous calls from a number that stays busy when you call it back, Definitely going to report them to FDCPA, Thanks for all of your post,it helps me. Now I hope that I can do the same. IT'S AGAINST THE LAW!!!!

So, it is fraudulent? Its a little bit unnerving to have someone call you and tell you that you have a pressing legal issue!

These effin [***] called me asking for an individual who wasn't here, they obviously got the wrong information. This hindu speaking clown calls me back telling me I am this individual and they are going to call my employer and have me arrested. This is BS.  How can these clowns get awat with this kind of harassment?

I just received a call from John Smith (Very Original)  Asking for my attorney of record to call him.  If he does not hear from my attorney of record tomorrow I will be visited by the local police and arrested either at my home or my place of employment.  I gave him my attorney's name and number, and surprise...they want my attorney to contact them.  I ask that they stop calling and they called 5 more times.

They called me at my work, how did they get my work number. Who are these people and what do they want. This is really unsettling. I just reported them as well.

My son just called me very upset. He received the same phone call and I called this number back. The man refused to give me his name and was horribly rude to me. When I said to him that this was the company that had stolen my son's identity he got furious. My son is working with the police department to get this resolved as this same company has pulled money out of his personal checking account. I believe it was under the name American Cash.

This bogus Victor & Reid Law Firm contacted me also. she stated that her name was Erica and she was a paralegal.  When asked what company she was representing she stated that there are over 800 organizations that they represent but could not state which one was included in the pending case againgst me.  I told her without any proof I would not divulge any information & she threatened to have the cops serve me with a warrant at my place of employment and I will have to pay $8000 in court and hung up. When I called back she told me not to call her place of business again, hung up and refused to answer as I repeatedly called.

Calvin cooper keeps calling me leaving me threatening messages that are all similar to all the rest I have read. Said he was going to start calling my work. This is crazy. What should I do?

I received phone calls from them at work. I told them that I was at work and I was busy. He said  well don't u think this is more important. Ur  being charged, I raised my voice and said I'm busy. I called them back on my break and a woman answered I gave her my name and she told me I had 3 charges against me. She was naming them off and said check fraud. I know that didnt happen and I told her I wasn't worried she repeated what I said then said fine I'm going to just send the police to me.

I am getting calls and he is saying I will be getting arrested and will not get any more info?

Same things is happening to me like it has to all of you, [***] crazy people. I don't even own checks let along use the bank account I have. I have identity theft of my accounts and I don't enter personal info online so how they got my number and or home number is beyond me. I will report them again and also start to state the legal facts to them about harassment.
