These scam artists have fake names and call repeatedly both at work and home.  Report them to your Attorney General's office as well as the FBI.  What goes around comes around so it is just a matter of time.

Charles Robinson called to read affidavit on a suit from Cash Advance. They said if i wanted to reject or resolve case. If rejected I will end up paying $5435.89 to American Legal Processing Division, if I choose to resolve the case now I will only have to pay them $918.56 for resolving a $500.00 debt. I feel this is a scam because the payment was to be paid to a David Boston and they would not tell me what company was suing me. They also wanted me to fax an authorize letter to David Boston to debit my card, not payable to the company. They are continuing to call repeatedly

Charles Robinson called my office and stated that he was an attorney with the California State Judicial Court and that I had a lawsuit against me.  I advised I could not speak at work and they called back minutes later.  After a supervisor advised them I could not talk they called my daughter and told her that if I had a court date this afternoon at 4:30 and that the amount was $6000 or so dollars.  I went out and called them and they would not give me any info or an affadavit but I was threatened to be arrested by this afternoon if I did not resolve this ASAP and speak to him like an attorney should be.  He used God's and Jesus' name and I was supposed to respect him as an attorney!  I advised them that I was going to contact the attorney generals office and hung up, while I was on the phone with the AG office they called my office again and left an ugly voice mail again with threats.....like if I know what is good for me I would take care of this or I will be sorry  thank God for saving voicemails.  My AG office will get my complaint according to them this is against Federal Law practices!

Charles Robinson called me as well. Gave me the same run around and said that I owed him money. It is a fraud and scam. Now I call him, then iI call him names and curse at him until he hangs up I hope he files harassment charges against me so that I can see his face in court and file fraud charges against him.

The California Bar Association Bar #113197 actually belongs to a Charles Furlonge Robinson that works for the university of California. He is not affiliated at all with the scam. The people that call you are scam artists impersonating attorneys. Please let the real Charles Robinson know each time someone impersonating him calls you. He is aware of the situation and needs more information to prosecute these people. By the way he is a white guy and his info is below. Charles Robinson has called me at work and on my cell phone repeatedly.  I went to the police station and reported it.  They called 661-263-4011 and he proceeded to harass the officer.  The officer finally got sick of it and hung up.  I was being told the exact same things as everyone above.  I'm reporting it to the real Charles Robinson.

I received 3 calls from a Roy Cage who claimed to be an attorney in Santa Clara, CA area. I asked him for his name and phone #661-263-4011. I demanded to know what company is filing a case against me and he just said "Cash Advance". I told him anyone can say "cash Advance" I need a company name. He would NOT give it to me. He also had a very thick foreign accent and I couldn't understand him at all. His claim is that I owe on a "Cash Advance" pay day loan the amount of ?? There is supposedly an affidavit that the "prosecution" provided to him stating that they will take legal action against me if I do not agree to pay them (over the phone) the total amount due. I told him I want documents on something in writing and he was NOT co-operating with me. I told him to stop calling me at work and that I will contact the FTC. How can someone with a heavy accent have such a name as Roy Cage? I believe this is a scam. Also, the numbers that are listed in my caller ID (when he calls) are: 052-555-831 or 525-556-31 these are NOT phone#s. Please help

I receive these calls at my business at least once a week! This time they called from 972-996-3252 claiming to be located in Houston, TX. This is not even an actual area code for the Houston area. When i asked for the physical address, they refused to supply it. I also asked him for his BAR number. He claimed that he was a Senior Officer with the Government and they don't have BAR number. I told him that he identified himself as an attorney, in which they DO have BAR numbers if they are practicing in the United States. He threatened me with lawsuits etc., then told me to have a "God Blessed day because you will need it!"

Received a job offer for Personal Assistant from William Kurt. Upon investigating the deadbeat website he included in the email I noted that it was registered to Charles Robinson. Here is the whois registration info from the website:

The email offer included all of the standard fair: he's traveling, wants someone to buy hardware and handle all financial transactions. This time he's supposedly in Canada instead of the UK. etc. etc.

I, like you, were offered a job etc.  I wrote back asking additional questions since I am in the legal field myself.  I'm awaiting to see if I get a response.  Anyway, I am going to call the lawyer in California to let him know they are at it again.  Also, he claims to be moving from Canada and actually gave me a phone number to call him at.

I also got an email for a Personal Assistant job offer from Charles Robinson from Maxlink, saying that he wanted someone to do his 'financial and business' activities.  I responded that I was interested and he replied back to give him more of my personal info so that he can send me a cachiers check that I am supposed to deposit for him, and so on.  That was just too suspicious.  
I called him, and could not leave a message, but after doing a little more research- the address in Ontario Canada is really an empty apartment building.  Total SCAM!

This Charles Robinson posted  a job listing with one of our local internet firms(which are reputable). I responded with my resume', as I am in need of a job. Sight unseen I received an email from someone proclaiming to be Charles Robinson , stating he was a partner in MaxLink, located in Canada, and he hired me sight unseen, with an offer of $1950 basic pay, $3900.monthly. This was very exciting for a brief moment as I am 68 yrs. young and need to return to the work force. I am 68 yrs young, not dumb!! I lef him along and was given his 'personal cellphone no.'  & that he was moving to Amarillo and in the process of getting matters cleared in Canada. I sent him several emails, and he has responded by calling. The last few times  from 5-9 thru today 5-11, have been calls from him telling me his wife is in Michigan,  and that he needs my mailing address so that his wife can mail me my first months paycheck!.I request documentation concerning his firm, employment prospect and necessary legal documents which automatically go with the hiring of an indiviual. He stated that everything had been mailed to me, gave me a tracking no., & today called wanting to know if pkg. reced.It has not! He then requested that I call him when I have received the pkg. and he will tell me more about the move of his office to Amarillo and my employment. I knew this was a scam, I just wanted to see how far I could trace the movements, & tonight I got on my computer and dug alittle deeper and found this sight. I will be more than glad to help with stopping this scam.What this man does is not only illegal but immoral and hurtful. There are people who need too work so badly that they fall for such as he.He makes the future look so bright. Shame on him!! God doesn't like mean or hurtful people. He's not impersonating an attorney with me but a business man, if you pull up MAXLINKOFFICE,COM, it shows him as one of the partners and the company as very stable and understandable, however every time I tried to call him at the number he gave there was always a recording that no calls could be accepted or msgs. left. 2-3 mins. later he called me. By the way he is of Indian decent because I asked his nationality, his accent is very pronounced. No one is knocking him for being an Indian,from India, but he is the one putting bad names on his people, not us!

i received the same reply to a job listing thru one of our reputable employment listers only the man gave his name as Charles Robinson MAXLINKOFFICE, and that he was moving to Amarillo to open an office. He travels alot. Hope the law gets him before he hides again

Interestingly enough - today is Friday the 13th.  I just got the email below, and so was doing a "scam check" when I came across this thread.  (THANK YOU JESUS FOR MY INTUITION!!!)  I too need a job, but I "ain't that desperate yet"...  Job Seekers - BEWARE!  I'm turning him into Monster so they know too.
