Called us several times as Brian Snyder. Sounds Arabic so pretty sure your name isn't Brian. Tries to threaten and talk down to you. Don't be fooled. Tell him to use google and look up his phone number he'll probably leave you alone after that.

Got a call from same number on may 12 but he said his name was brandon smith but he sounded arab he wanted me to send money and i said no.

she said that was from burean of crime and invesgation say my name for crimes committed in my name and i need to resolve this matter or else they will send sheriff to my job to pick me up in my county

I have received several calls from this #.  I finally answered today and the woman with a very strong Indian or Arab accent said her name was Keisha Spencer (yeah right!)  She said she was calling from Kroger Legal Associates but when I looked up the info (while she was still on the phone) nothing came up.  I asked her where they were located and was told in California, I asked what City and it took her a few minutes before she finally said Orange county.  After asking several times to speak with one of their supposed attorneys, I spoke to another person with a heavy foreign accent.  He said his name was Rex Jackson-yeah right!  He refused to give me his Bar Association number or any other info so that I could verify their information.  I know this is a scam because I've never even heard of the website or company they say I got and never paid a loan from.  The only scary part is that they knew who I bank with and the last 4 digits of my Soc. Sec. #!  I'm contacting the attorney general's office and my bank.

Just received the same phone call.  Wants my attorney's information, said his name was George Matthews and was from Krogal Law Firm out of Beverly Hills, California.   Same said he had my credit report and my ssc # information.   I am going to contact my attorney and let them see what is going on.

SOmebody with name Kevin Smith (with very strong Indian accent) constantly call me from this number. No answer when I call back this number. Looked at all the messages here on the website and it sounds like some scheme is going on here.

Well I guess I was just bambozzeled by the same Kroger Legal Assc.  I spoke with an Indian accent man with a spanish name- Randel Rodriquez, who told me that I recieved a payday loan that I never recieved.  Also that tomorrow a sheriff will be coming to my house to arrest me and take me to court.  I was scared a bit because he had my address but HELLO thats what I used when I applied and got denied.  These people are nuts!!!!  The number that called 7 times back to back was 9163950000, but he told me to call back to 6612706408, the first one is not in service the second one you cannot reach anyone.

This number i was told to call back. I was accused to recieving money I never got, and was threatened to get arrested by the sherriff tomorrow morning and go to court.

I got the call too, but from 0000, telling me or my attorney to call 661-270-6408. He spoke with a heavy Middle Eastern Accent and said that his name was Jones something. He said that legal action was being taken against me and used the phrase "times sensitive matter." It was incredibly difficult to make sense of him with the accent. It was obvious that he was in a call center so I hung up. He called back several times eventually leaving a voice message. On this message he said, "Don't ignore this call. If I do not hear from you or your attorney all I can say to you is good luck."

Yesterday I got a call from 0000. As soon as I responded that yes I was Janet, he hung up.

I got the same phone call on the 8th of July 2011. They was reading from some affdavit that said I was been brought up on 3 charges and that they wanted my attorney info and if they didn't hear from me with 45 minutes the info would be downloaded and the authorities would come to my job or home with a subpoena for me. I researched and then I decided to call BBB and the lady was able to give me the same information the Kroger Legal Associates was saying to me about being arrested and faxing them my information and bank stuff.

OMG. I receive the same calls EVERYDAY!!!!!!They all have american names...Just like everybody else, they threaten you with the law enforcement, garnishments, etc....My plan is to call Clark Howard. Clark is a news investigator in Atlanta, ga.....Please contact him for help...

I told them to give me the address to send the money to. They said I could only pay by credit card, or western union, those were my only options. I just wanted to see what they were going to say if I asked for an address....

Getting calls day and night from strange numbers..seems to have begun after I answered an ad about a puppy. Never answer the calls, but sounds like im glad I haven't.

it is a nationwide scam,  so dont not let them scare you , the FBI is looking into it as much as they can

if you call them back and ask for a real address they get all flustered lol its funny,  if you badger them enough the calls will stop, also if everyone they have called , calls back and gives them [***] it will tie up their lies so they cannot bother new people.

A man called me and said that he works for Kroger Legal Associates. He said that there was a legal suit against me in the amount of $300 that had been direct deposited into my checking account 4 or more months ago. When I went to my bank and had all my records printed out, there was no such deposit made. I then called the man back and he said that they would see me in court. The number he called from was 661-270-6408

I was told the same thing. The guy told me his name was Randolph Rodriguez and the company he works for was in Irvine City, CA. Turns out, the number he actually called from is from Thailand????

I have been called by these poeple.  When I asked for thier address, they got all flustered and told me they couldn't give me their address.  I told them according to the rules and codes from the bar asscociation that governs lawyers, that I must send them a letter in writing to tell them I want them to not call me anymore and only communicate with me in writing. he said he didn't want me to know his address and he didin't want me to send him a letter.  If he had anything to do with legitamate law, he would know this regulation for lawyers.  The poeple that call all end with "if you don't call me back immediately, all I can do is wish you luck and let this situation unfold al over you."  
They have threatened that someone would come to arrest me and take me away.  
  Which again, if they knew anything about American laws, they would know that could not happen and there is a legal system that  protects us from that sort of thing.  Maybe in their contry that could happen.  
 A man who called himself, Officer Melvin Brown (the first guys name was Jimmy Brown- a family business?)  left a message at work for me. When I called some other Arab guy answered and I told him I needed to talk to Melvin Brown.  The man said, "Oh yes, he is one of our Paralegal officers."

I have never heard anyone called a "paralegal officer".  They just use the word officer to scare you into thinking an officer of the law is coming or calling for you.  
 These people are crazy. Maybe it's the new terrorism,

 i left them a meassage that the FBI was coming to get them because they traced their phone calls.  
The scare tactics can work both ways.  I have talked to the LA FBI and my home state FBI.  We will catch these guys.  I think Home Land S
Security should be in on this also.
