This number just called stated his name was Kevin Marsh and he was from Anderson law Assoc. asked for my husband and said there was a lawsuit filed against him and to have him call back. Tried to call it and there is no answer, just states the mailbox is full and cant receive messages. Whatever , 1 the phome number used is a Ca. area and there is no such law firm with that name there anywhere. 2 if it was a law firm they would answer the phone. This is just a scam....

I just a got call also from this phone 661-270-6724 and demanding me to pay or they will put me on jail for 2 to 3 years.

Same here they have been calling me non stop pretending to be police, lawyers, even a judge making threats calling my work my home, its ridiculous I have a report in with my city and attorney general.

I received a telephone call today from this number telling me I was being sued and a lawsuit was being filed against me. When I asked what it was for he stated for an internet pay advance. I stated okay, what pay day loan for what company. He said that I failed to pay them and could have to pay up to $8,000 if I lost, when I asked why this was the first I ever heard of this he was very rude and stated that he was sending sheriffs to my home and my job and that I would lose my job and hung up on me. When I called hime back he asked me "why the hell was I calling this number back, I told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor!" and he hung up on me again. I continued to call the number back but man just kept answering and hanging up on me, I have no idea what this is about or what I should do about it!!!!!!!

I am a legal assistant at a law firm in Oregon.  This is the 2nd time this year that I have received this call.  Message from "Bob Watson" and number to call back #661-270-6724.  

The first occurrence was on 3/1/11 and I had my attorney listen to the voicemail I received and call them back.  They ended up hanging up on her 3 times and would never give any information but would continue to ask for information.  

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!!!  

Today 4/26/11 I just received another voicemail message that is probably identical (as far as I can recall).  This is nothing but a scam!

WHO IS THESE JERKS?! SOME FOREIGN GUY WITH VERY BAD ENGLISH CALLED MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT, LEFT ME A MESSAGE STATING THAT I NEED TO CALL BACK THE INFORMATION IS TIME SENSITIVE AND HE WISH ME GOOD LUCK.

I just got the same call from "Kevin Marsh", I could barely understand what he said, but he said to either call him back or have my attorney call. I did, but instead I got an answering machine. I also called the number which showed on my caller id, and of course that number is not in service. I believe this is a scam attempting to use a scare tactic for people to give their information and money.

I JUST GOT A CALL AND LEFT ME A MESSAGE SAYING TO CALL THEM BACK... SO OF COURSE I DID AND THE NUMBER THAT THEY CALL ME BACK WAS DISCOUNTED AND I CALLED THE ONE THEY GAVE ME AND OF COURSE IT WAS GOOD.. TOLD THEM I HAD FILED BANCKRUPCY AND TO STOP CALLING ME.. WELL SEE

I just received the same call from a foreign guy name Brian Jackson leaving this number 661-270-6724 and he left a message at my work and my cell stating that If I don't call back all he can do is wish me luck about the situation. Its bad how the world has so many crooks in it.  I say stop being a bum and get a job like the rest of us.

That is too funny and yet very annoying.  I got the same call with the same BS!

What this is, if you have ever gotten an internet payday loan they hacked in and got some of your information trying to use it to get funds from you. The good thing is that they don't have all your information so they might say your last four of your social security number, because that's all they can see.
DON'T GIVE THEM INFORMATION!!! Report them to your local law enforcement agency

I AM SOOOO SICK OF THESE SCAM ARTISTS CALLING ME AT WORK WITH THEIR FOREIGN ACCENTS TRYING TO THREATEN ME.  IT HAS BEEN ON THE LOCAL AND NATIONAL NEWS THAT THEY ARE A FAKE AND IF THEY WERE A REAL OFFICER OR LAWYER THEY WOULDN'T DISCLOSE THE PERSONAL INFORMATION ON A PERSONS WORK PHONE.  I JUST TRIED TO CALL THE NUMBER BACK AND A MAN ANSWERED SAYING "GOOD MORNING, HOW CAN I HELP YOU?"

These people call my CELL PHONE and WORK NUMBER 10+ times a day... the last call was at midnight last night.. are you people serious?? They're clearly indian pieces of [***] but they try out new accents, names & fake law firm names every time they call. Gotta change it up I suppose. WTF are we supposed to do?? The last message was almost comica, with the quiet, threatening whisper of "GOOD LUCK" at the end... it's beyond harrassment at this point, but the police cant be bothered or do anything about it apparently.... it's truly rediculous nobody can put a stop to this, especially finding out i'm far from the only one dealing with it!!

i just told the idot that i looked the number up on the internet and found out it is a scam and talked to the REAL person i had a debt with and told him that they wanted him caught.. He started screaming at me in very BAD english.. SHUT YOUR MODERFUKIN MOUDTH!! OVEr And OVER... It was really funny...

anderson law firm contacted me (an officer jones), telling me i failed to pay a debt from an online cash advance place a month ago and that the debt was purchased by anderson law firm, and that officers would be on their way to my home in 45 minutes. i contacted bank and of couse it was not true. contacted better business bureau as well as the FTC who said this was completely fradulent. I called mr. jones back who somehow now was mr. walker and asked for his address. when i couldn't understand what he said through his indian accent, and merely wanted him to spell the street adressed, he asked if i was another illiterate american. he then proceeded to go on with what i should do to his private parts. i became very hostile to him as well. unfortunately he had my SS# as well as my bank account number (which has now been closed due to this).  needless to say, no officers came to my home. the number he called me from is 626-888-4693. beware.

I got a call today from a person by the name of Sabatian Snyder at my place of employment who stated the same thing and wished me luck as well, from the ph# 661 270 6924 I think this people need to be caught and prosicuted...

i got the same call They call my work and cell at all hours. Same infomation everyone else is reporting. Very annoying
