keep getting calls from this number no one on other end??

I got a call and they asked for someone who used to live here but no longer does by his Title: Dr. Glenn Bxxxx Caller ID said NET

They call at all hours, levae no message, and so far the line is dead if you pick up.

This number rings me several times a week. Read these posts so I've not answered. They never leave a message.

It's a marketing company calling on behalf of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Your call might be different.

apparently calling for the Met museum, MET is what the CID says

I have a membership to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  If that's who is calling, they never leave a message. Nobody on the other end of the phone, just dead air.

I too am a MMA member and have gotten calls with MET as the CID with . Doesn't make much sense with a dead line when picked up.  Calls to # say it is "not In service".

I, too, am a Met Museum member. I'm sure they're soliciting for their "Annual Fun Drive" as I also received a solicitation via snail mail a couple of days ago.

I am a former Met member. Sadly moved away from NYC. Guessing this missed call was to get me to rejoin.

Also a MET member, and I have recently had several missed calls with no message either, so I am sure they are fundraising.  For some reason it shows up as Palmdale Area though.

Met member as well.  This is ridiculous.  We're members already.  You have our money.

As someone else has mentioned, they call at all hours and do not leave a message. But when I have decided to pick (I don't say a thing, as I am waiting for them to say something) there is nothing said and the line goes dead. And then they still call back. I too am a member of the MET, and my membership is current. If they are the ones calling, do they want me to cancel my membership when it comes due next year, since I do this for them as I live no where near New York and do not take any benefit from the money I send them?

I got this call from yesterday and today, shown as Palmdale Area. I am currently a Met Museum member too, and have received a few mails from them. I don't know why they are calling.

Unidentified number from Palmdale Area. Didn't answer, but a message was left. A televised sporting event can be heard in the background and about halfway through the 90 second message a male voice, sounding like some TV or radio personality I cannot pinpoint, said a few words about not understanding something to a third party and then hung up. I, too, am a member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
