Spanish, I don't speak Spanish so i hung up.

I received the same call...I need a number to call so that I can get my number removed.

I just got a call from this number. Well-trained male voice started to speak: "This prize is for Fido customers only... " I hung up (I pay 30c per minute). It seems this call is related to 001020 and 001030 "you won 415 000 pounds" numbers...

Got a call from that number around noon PST, since I didn't recognize the number I didn't pick up, no message was left.

Arturo: Just add your number to the "Do Not Call Registry" at http://www.donotcall.gov it's much easier.

My daughter got a call from this number. We are in Alberta on Telus Mobility.

She didn't answer and no message left.

Is there a "Do Not call Registry" like that in Canada does anyone know.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I didn't recognize the number so I sent it to voicemail.  No message left.

Yes, there is a Canadian DNC registry.  However, I'd question it's effectiveness since, call display numbers can be spoofed and the registry isn't enforceable for callers in foreign countries (eg. USA.)

You are probably correct as it does seem to be a USA number. But I will keep it mind for future for other types of calls recieved.

June 5, 2009 @ 4:24 SK time, I received a call from this number, but did not answer it.

Its a Scam: Well trained hispanic or latino male spoke to me in spanish. Informed me that I won a thousand dollars and a four night vacation. I suspiciously inquired what he needed of me. he replied, "Your Name, Birthday, Credit Card, the  number and the expiration date". I called him a conman and a criminal. he panicked and hung up.

Just received call on my cell from this number. Did not recognize so I did not answer.

Just received it, and came here to know. It looked like an automatic message but I'm not sure, the call stopped alone after 22 seconds... Ackward

Just got a call.  But now I am wondering if this whocallsme site is related to the scammers!  At least I can think that is not a certain person I know stalking me.

Got a call on my cell phone from this #, too - & IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.  I am on this list for both my home & cell #s & still get LOADS of these annoying calls.

I AM VISITING NORTH CAROLINA AND WE GOT THIS CALL ON A PREPAID.  SILLINESS BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW ANYONE OUTSIDE OF THREE AREA CODES.  IT'S A CRIME TO BE BOTHERED.

They've called me twice today. I haven't picked it up yet.. considering doing so if they call for a third time just to be able to write what they say on this site.

Posts from a year ago say it was a scam, some person speaking in Spanish about winning vacations and such. Wonder if it's still the same.
