got the same call. im wondering who it is? called back and it said please wait for operator and then music came on and noone answered so i hung up

Found a "missed call" this AM on my call log. Shows a call from this number at 2:53 AM!! No message left.

Got a call from this number; phone rang twice and then hung up before I could get to it

Got a call at 7:56pm on January 11, 2014.  They hung up when I answered, or so they thought.  They began dialing the next number.  Must've been some sort of active-number-finding thing, ya know, then they sell those working numbers they find as leeds to companies looking for customers to cold call.  I waited for the dialing to stop, then, thinking on my feet, I said "Contratulations!  You're the 500th caller and winner of the $50,000 Cold Hard In-Cash Prize!!!  Who am I speaking with?".   A hesitant voice replied "Paul.".  "Paul who, and where do we overnight the cold hard cash?!?".   "uh, Pul Granger..."  He then gave me his address, and after careful prodding, a breif physical description of himself.  The location was Googled to be about 63 miles away.  I was there in 53 minutes.  There he was, working from home, cold calling from a crappy studio apartment.  I kicked in the door, zapped him with a tazer, tied him up and threw him in the trunk of my car.  Not sure what I'll do from here.  Can't let him go.  In too deep.  Eh, want to have fun, but just don't have the energy I used to.  Anyways, I doubt there will be anymore calls from his number.   You're welcome.

Got a call from this number on my CELL. Whoever was calling hung up after just one ring. Guess I  didn't miss anything!!!

Same thing, called, hung up before my tone could even finish. oh, and +1 for Johnny, i got half way through before i realized it  was made up haha
