another persistant scam to get access to your PC  

They said they were US Tech Team and that Dell told them to call me since they received multiple error reports from my computer that it was about to crash!  They knew my 1st and last name too!

Scam! Protect your computer and hang up immediately! They are not tech support!

got a call on 5-17-2014 from this number. Took about 10 seconds for a guy to answer. Had an Asian accent and told me he was from Microsoft Tech support and that they had received numerous signals from my computer that it was about to crash. I told him to get stuffed and hung up. Did the *60 block on the number.

Received exact same call as Paul Revere - blocked the number. At the time, a pernicious virus was plaguing my PC (browser related issue). Attempts to delete the virus were unsuccessful - the virus came back each time. What was he trying to do?

Got a call from a guy my pc was spitting out error messages 06/01/2014, Sd he was from windows support 668-233-5000. SOS  a year ago before my last PC tower crashed,  I told him this as well as that they owed me $500 on this new one!  He babled in Indian and I hung up!

Some man with a very thick Indian accent called saying he was calling about my computer and my Windows OS. With the background noise it sounded like he was in a call center.

some guy with a heavy heavy indian accent called and said he was from MicroSoft Tech  Support. and he needed to access my pc. when i asked him which pc was showing the error he transfered me to a Supervisor. The supe spoke gibberish to me when i kept asking which of the 7 pcs in my household has the error he then called me a [***] and Asked how dare I question him.  I laughed called him a clueless blitch and hung up. funniest bs scam all week.

I got a call from them today. They said they were from the Windows tech team and that my computer had sent them several error messages. Which I thought was funny because I'm in the process of moving and my computer has been in storage for the last 6 months. I hung up.
