This is not Bank of America, it is a scam. I am not signed up for Bank of America texts and I have gotten 2 suspicious texts from someone I don't recognize with a message that implies it is from Bank of America. If the message was from Bank of America it would say Bank of America, not b0a or bof-america

This thing is totally a scam. It's called "smishing". They text you to try to get info from you through texting you about bogus "breaches of security". Please ignore. Banks would NEVER try to solicit info (that they already have) from you in this way. Hope this helps!

got a text with this number and said it was improtant that i call. i did and it immediatley started saying there was a security breach in my bofa account and it started asking for my debit card number. i entered it but then my brain started working and i realized that bofa should already have this information! i hung up and then cancelled my card.

just got a text from from "tele@bof-america.

All it says is B of A call 67838747533

Obviously a scam since I have never had anything to do with Bank of America

Just got a text from this number, looked fishy so I looked it up on here.

Haven't had a Bank of America account in years.

Just got the text as well.  It didn't make sense that Bank of America would contact me this way.  So glad I googled the number.  I feel sad for the folks that may fall into the trap.  Sure wish someone would come down on these thieves.

I just received my second text in two days. First one on Friday, Sept. 7 at 5:10pm from tele@bof-america.com said “B of A. Call 678-384-7533.” Second one on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 6:46pm from smsnotice@b-ofamerica.com said “B of A. Please contact 16788347533.”

Funny, when I received the first one on Friday, I was in the drive thru of Bank of America (since they are my bank). I asked the guy working the drive thru about them, he called the number and it was busy. He told me if you call B of A you wouldn't get a busy signal.

gotten two text messages saying to call B of A.  Don't have any B of A accounts.

I keep getting text messages from them as well...
