Over and over.  Shouldn't this be illegal?

Rex in the Vehicle Research department of National Motor Marketing left a message on my cell regarding their interest in selling my car for me - my car is listed on Craigslist.  He left (800) 727-0681 as his callback number.  Needless to say, I won't be calling him.

I got phone calls from this phone number twice. I listed my car for sale.

I got a call from The National Vehicle Research Department.  Called them back and ask for more info and as everyone is saying, they wanted to help me sell my car, that it was listed below blue book value etc. etc.  Needless to say I was very suspicious and didn't give them any personal info.  I did a web search and found that alot of people are being annoyed by these creeps.  This was my first call but looks like it probably wont be my last.

I listed my 2007 Harley Sportster for sale in 2009....this guy calls me about being able to sell it. I never called him back. I listed my 1987 Electra Glide Classic for sale recently. Guess what? Yep, this guy calls again. Needless to say, I never call him back.  He calls from 678-701-8027 says to call Bailey at 800-727-0681 or ask for his manager, but never gives the manager's name.

Oh yea.  Both of my bikes were listed on CraigsList.

received a call from someone named Quinn with National Vehicle Research Company inquiring about a vehicle I had listed on Craigslist. the number he left was 800-727-0681.  When I called all I got was an answering machine. Does anyone have any information regarding calls they may have received or if this company is real or BOGUS.   Thanks

The company is BOGUS.  I got the same call yesterday about my pick up I have for sale on Craig's List.  All you get is a damn answering machine. I told them intactly if they call any of my numbers listed on Craig's List again, I will report them.  Don't know how it can be done but I hope I scared them enough.  

Does anyone know how to get Craig's List's phone number and get a LIVE VOICE?  Craig's List needs to do something about this.  I hold Craig's List responsible for all the scam calls coming on my phone.  If you or anyone knows the phone number to Craig's List, please let me know.
