call back said number was not working

reverse phone says a land line provider deltacom, wish I knew who it was calling me as I am on a do not call list.

Answered this call and the caller asked for Peggy.  When I said this is she, nothing else was said.  Call back said the number is not in service.  Who is this and why are they calling.

Called twice but not leaving voice mail... or Voice Mail duration: 00:01

Yep, these mf'ers just began calling me twice a day at 9am and in the evening. Never picked up, no voicemail left. Go online to your phone service provider's website and block the number through there.

Looked it up on another reporting site and it has a comment posted someone received the call and it was from a company called "'family values' a horrible company".  
I wasn't able to verify this as no one was there on my call.

Guess they have hired or convincied someone to do their calls to try to drum business and either it's some un profressional doing it or very inept? (Maybe they get paid by the attempt or call made and not any follow through?)Regardless, I've reported the number myself to the national do not call registry (complaints), so they have something one more entry to compile on that number's calls...

Ok, did a web search for the 'family values' .. here's what a line on their site to 'become an affliate' says..

"Through its fundraising program for charitable organizations, Family Values Cinema donates back a significant portion of its monthly subscription fees to its Affiliates who share in the important work of building strong families and faith communities."

You can insert 'telemarkerters' for 'afiliates' and you'll know what's going on, right? And it goes on to say, "Once you apply to our Affiliate program and are accepted, you will be able to instantly access the Affiliate Center and get started with your promotions.

Join our Affiliate program and begin earning extra money today for your organization. It is a great fundraiser that promotes positive values and family togetherness. The members you refer can cancel at any time."

Seems you just CAN'T EVER stop the calls!!! Heh

So no way to stop these.. as they have branched out to 'families?oanizations?' trying to earn the kick back.. to 'spread their word' as an affilate. And no way to hold Family Values responsible right?

Sighs.  I know times are tough, but p'o'ing people, you'd think they'd get the message and stop that. Who would want to deal with them after that type thing?

So even if you block that one number, next time it'll just be another 'affiliate' giving it their shot at it...

Money raising on the back of a what would normally seem a good thing.. WHOA!

This is part of the 'feature films for familys' network of numbers. Have no idea how they got my number but they keep calling constantly from different numbers.

Even before looking this number up I was assuming it was family values since they have called me four times in the last week with another number.  I am on the do not call list and my number is a cell phone (illegal to telemarket to a cell phone) so they are in theory breaking two federal laws every time they call me.  That line about helping charitable organizations is probably their way of trying to fit into the charity exemption to the do not call list.  Although just donating to charity does not make you one...otherwise most companies could claim to be exempt from the list.  I am filing another complaint with the FTC about them now.  That makes five complaints.

Received a call at 8 a.m. asking to speak to the lady of the house.  Since it was Saturday and just after Christmas, I hung up.  I called back later to find the number is not in service?  Ok...these people called before and spoke to my son.  They informed him I owe them money from 1995????  Are they out of their every loving minds???  I don't owe these people money, never knew of these people until the calls and certainly won't be held hostage by their incessant calling.  Featured Films For Families is supposedly based out of Utah and I intend to take care of this situation by making a complaint to the FTC as well as the local Attorney General's offices.  I have been on the DNC list for more than 5 years and renew my numbers periodically so these people are in blatant violation.  I have kept a log of these annoying calls and the local Attorney General's offices have offered advice and taken the number as a way of opening a complaint...which I did.  Next step?  Calling Featured Films for Families in Utah and asking what the hell is going on.

Caller ID showed "unknown caller".  Man at other end identified himself from Feature Films for Families. He asked for my wife.  When I told him she wasn't home and that I wanted to ask him a question, he hung up.  We've received many hangup calls from various numbers identified with this company, and asked to be removed from their calling list, but they still call.

This guy calls around 8am CST.   He is very annoying.   I think he is with
Family Value CB.    I tried to call number back but it was not working.

Just wanted to tell these people were to jump. Keep calling knowone there. Call back and it says this phone out of order. I hope someone finds out who this is. Please if they talk tell them to jump in a lake..

I just filed a complaint on the National Do-Not-Call list website.  I think all of you should do the same.  This guy from Feature Films is a pain in my rear end.  He never listens at my repeated requests to be removed form their call list.
