call shows as TEXAS hung up upon answering called late at night

Call from TEXAS at 7:45 pm. Didn't answer, they left no message on machine.

keep getting a phone call, no one leaves messages

claim to be the Childrens Wish network and told me my wifes name and that she has helped in the past and they wanted help for christmas. funny thing is wife has never helped these people,by her own admission, we don't help charities over the phone. It is too easy to be scammed.
Asked to be removed from the list and informewd her that the call has been reported to the don't call regestiry and I was ntold that they are exempt and the woman hung up, some charity.

9 pm calls then hangs up

Getting calls like posts above; asked to be remove when I called back - took a few days for someone to answer; claim to be call center out of Ohio and make calls for various charities; I see if this works

Someone called from this number just before 8pm.  They hung up when I answered.

Getting many many many calls a day from this number. Apparently, they don't know after one call it's considered harassment ! Bang, bang... Make my day you collection idiots!!

This is a bogus scam artist.  Uses multiple company names if you can get a hold of someone..  Trying to get people to send money to them for various things; direct tv, kids wish list, state troopers are all listed from prior bloggers for this same number within the last month.

called at 10am mountain time.  Sounded like they may still be on the line, but not speaking.  I hung up.

These people called and woke me up last night. Next time they call I am going to blow a whistle into the phone like we used to do to the obscene phone callers  back in the days before caller ID.

I'm in CA and just received a call from them. Caller ID just dais Texas. They said they were from Kid's make a wish foundation and asked if I could donate, I asked for their website, he gave me one and then put me on hold to make a 'donation' just long enough to google the number to find out that they are NOT legit!!! Anyone who gets a call from them, rip them a new one! I did call back, got a machine that transferred me to a person who just said "hello?". No formal introduction. Don't trust them.

the best way to get these people to stop calling is never answer the phone.. if its someone that knows you? they will call your cellphone.. if you have and answering machine? i noticed they will keep calling if the answering machine is on, but when you turn your machine off, the calls become less to almost none.. its a machine that keeps calling and if they get anyone or anything to answer? they will keep calling. if anyone whants they can copy and paste this post anywhere they have numbers harrasing people. so everyone know how to handle these creeps..

got a call from this number and no one was on the other end.  No acknowledgement from my challanges.
