The 684 area code is American Samoa. Obviously this is either a scam call or something in that
nature. I wouldn't answer it again if I were you. They will eventually get tired of calling an quit.

Called me and said my computer was giving him an error message'

I have not call this number who ever it is Is harrassing me and I want it stop. I can't call them back and this is not right

This number has been calling my cell phone for several days would not leave message. Today I answered the call & a male with Indian accent told me my computer was calling his company & it would soon stop working & he would be able to help me fix this. I told him I did not have a computer & he asked me to verify my name. I told him the name he was saying was wrong & I did not own a computer. The person said I was lying & then hung up. This # can not be called back. This is a scam & they want to get information from computer.

I received a call from this no.# and didn't pick it up but called it the next day and got a busy signal everytime all tried to call. I'm just going to verbally assault whomever it is when they call back cause I know its a scam.

Has been calling me several times a day.  Finally answered it -- took the guy a bit to say anything and then I realized it was some kind of B.S. call so I hung up and added the number to my blacklist.  Thank GOD my phone with T-mobile lets me blacklist numbers like this!

Someone keeps calling from this number & asks for a specific person. When I ask, who is calling, they proceed to assume I am the person they want to talk to & continue w a speech. When I cut them off again to ask who they are, they reply who asking who am I.
I did reply with "you called me & I am the one who asks who's calling, not visaversa, then they hung up & the phone went dead.
Def harrassing & assuming on there part.

got a call saying there were error messages coming thru my computer. i told the man, who sounded foreingn, that i would call my internet provider and hung up. i got a call again today and did not answer

This is the second day I have received calls from this number.  Answered it and a foreign speaking male started telling me that my computer is giving error messages and he can help me.  I told him my husband is a computer tec and takes care of my computer I don't need his assistance.  He told me he knows. I asked who is this? The line went dead.  I reported the number to the Attorney General's office.  I'm not answering them again.  Beware! Someone said they are trying to get personal information off your computer.

These people call 10 times a day! Sick of it....... American Samoa.....Do not answer only makes it worse....Contact your Attorney General. It's a scammm.. harassment !!!!!!!

I recieved a call from 6842365238 on my cell phone.  I did not answer, it is very annoying to stop everything you are doing to answer a call that you do not want to recieve.

Who is this and why are they calling a cell phonr

female calls with a Indian accent  and said she have been trying to reach me, but never said my name, i ask, what was her name, and the line is disconnected, i call the number back, and the recording states, that the number have been change and or disconnected,no futher information..

They called me 18 times yesterday! 18 TIMES!! And just now, 9. I blocked them.

I added the number to my "reject" list (see your phone settings). I think you can get a virus to your phone these days by answering a call by someone you don't know...scams, of course. If they are interested in talking to you and desperately reach you, the idiot would have left a message. I'm really annoyed because I get the same number calling me...yesterday they called 18 times in a row, and just now 9 times in a row. They haven't given up yet. Ugh...annoying!

Anyway, just venting and empathizing with your experience. I wouldn't answer the phone anymore if I were you..just in case you get a virus!! But it's good to know what they are saying on the other end.

Called me yesterday (and everyday). I have them on my reject list but it shows up as a missed call. I had 18 missed calls from them in a row yesterday, 9 calls so far today.

I wonder how people would block the number form a house phone, but on a cell you can click on the missed call and a menu pops up (on Samsung Galaxy's). You are given the option to add them to you "reject" list. ;-)
