text STOP back to same number. worked for me so far! was getting texts easily every 10mins and now nothing for 1 hour. checked my bill though. £27!!!!!! Does anybody regulate these people?

same thing hapend to me yesterday, will it charge me anymore? my recent charges now is £3.33 and yesterday was only £0.81. Does anyone know how to get out of it?

I had same msg - rang O2 this morning and they advised me to send STOP to 69400.  Got a reply saying service now cancelled. O2 said you can chase this money back!!

pissed right off £10.00 off charges in one day from premium rate texts !!! spoke to 02 said text STOP

These robbing bas***de sent me 29 texts after they sent me a push message, my bill said it was 150p per message totalling £43.50P. I text back stop after the 1st and 2nd but they kept coming . I was fuming. I called the "customer service line" answer machine. So then I called t mobile my provider they were so helpful they blocked the messages and creditted my bill with the 43.50. THANK YOU T-MOBILE

Ya, same situation has happened with me now they have charged me 27pound and o2 is also not willing to help me. Please help me how should I get my claim back.

Guys I had same thing just happend I copyied the text witch led me here lucky I only got 2 texts how the heck did they do this? And just text STOP and it's over

this happened to me this morning and i called it and the messages have now stopped!

What you need to do is type STOP to 89996. You will receive a further message from these sods saying its been cancelled.  There should be restrictions on these guys getting our mobile numbers !!!!! Not happy.

This 69400 messaging service is from a company in London called SWITCHFIRE and the London number is 02077982800, The lady that answered the phone sounded half asleep and with a french acsent.

Any one that calls this number can have this service blocked from contacting you or you acidentally activating it again, SO BE VERY CAREFULL WHAT YOU DO WITH YOUR MOBILE PHONE IN FUTURE, the 69400 number is not the only one out there.

The number that was used as a customer service contact in the messages I recieved was 08444457707 but as I stated in my first post, the other number which is a London number is 02077982800.

Cost me 192 pound and orange said I had to pay it and they gave me the number to phone them or I got was an answering machine takes the piss

£91.90, not bloody happy. I'm gong to ring and write a complaint, has anyone managed to get there money back? I text Stop and Stop all and got a reply saying its cancelled and if I go on there site again I will rejoin there service! Surly this is fraud and illegal. I too received a txt off this number, and then deleted it, I received 76 more txts in the space of 5 hours costing me £63.65 + VAT and O2 will not help.  I thought they had a duty of care towards their customers.
