got an emergency mobile with T-mobile, as soon as I got I started receiving daily unsolicited SMS messages from 700001270, which cost me £0.20 each. Who are these guys? And how do I get the money back?

Believe it or not ROMCAP 3030 is a T-Mobile additional horoscope service. My 10-year-old son started to receive this everyday, over 30 days about £6.

I found that if you text "STOP"  to number 8930 it will send you a text confirming the unsubscription to ROMCAP.

Miserable sods!!!!

sorry for the mistake...

i get messages from ROMCAP aswell, ive been wondering where all my credit was going. Ive just sent STOP to the number u gave and hopefully it works.

I've just had exactly the same problem and complained to T Moibile.  They claimed that my 10 year old daughter must have subscribed to the horoscope service... utter rubish!!  The customer srvice rep did let slip that these numbers are sent randomly to new customers but that she would now block all premium text services....

She also agreed to credit £1 of the £1.40 back to the phone.

I'm considering complaining to OFCOM as a matter of principle.
