does not say anything - you ask the name of the company and who is calling - no reply and disconnects.

Once of those scams that claim to be your "Credit Card Services" to reduce your interest or some crap.  They call my cellphone (stealing my minutes).  It is a recorded message.

called and said to press #1 to talk to a representative and #2 to not receive any further calls...I pressed #2 and a representative came on the line telling me they wanted to reduce my interest rate on my credit cards since I had not missed a payment and paid timely...I asked what credit cards he was talking about and he told me it was Visa and Mastercard...Indian accent...I believe this is some sort of scam to get my credit card numbers...they didn't call and ask me when they increased the interest why are they calling me to decrease the interest??? Just do it!!

Displayed as "Credit Services 701-217-1068" on my caller ID.
Leaves no message.

(looked up area code and "701" is listed as North Dakota. I don't know anyone from North Dakota.)

We just had a phone call from this number to day (and had it before)  after time the number is recognizable.  Caller ID identifies it as Unknown.  When we get long distance phone calls, unless we know the number we do not answer, and let it go to voice mail, 99% of the time there's no message left.  So, no message, no answer that's my motto.  Good luck everyone and don't be sucked into these, these, well  you know what I mean.

As soon as I answered, the line disconnected.

701 217 1068 is a scam, these people want to steal your personal information,DO NOT give them any info as they want to steal your indentity.

This number is a scam.They want to get your credit information and steal your money.Other phone numbers that they use are,917-217-9515,214-969-5489,305-587-2091,503-457-1085 and many others.The recorded message is in english but the opperator is East Indian.What a surprise.

I got called from this # today and it was a recorded message from Heather with Cardholder Services.  I got called from 920-602-0879 earlier today and it was a recorded message from Rachel with Cardholder services.  The 2nd time I pressed 1 to talk to someone and spoke with Lara at extension 493.  Having spoken with them before to try and get them to stop calling I know they are very secretive about their operation and anytime they feel like you are digging for information about them or ask to be removed from their call list they will just hang up on you.  This time, I told Lara I was busy at work and asked for a phone number I could call her back at.  She gave me her extension but wouldn't give up the phone number and connected me with her supervisor Rooney.  When I asked Rooney for the number, he promptly disconnected the call without saying anything.  I called the number back and it was an automated message that says if you want to be removed from their call list press 1 at anytime so I pressed 1.  Hopefully they don't call back.

They called and didn't leave any message. ID says Credit Card Services.  Based upon what I've read here, sounds like some type of scam.

I got a call and did not pick up since I did not recognize the #. I checked this website to see if there were any reports of scam. Sure enough there is. One more call from this # I will block this call

People, people, people just stop answering and/or returning calls that you can not identify! If you're/it's that important they'll leave a message or get back to you. If you're not expecting the call or number don't play into them with any response. I've gotten a couple in the last few weeks, just left it alone and googled it to find all of you here....
Now set down the phone and get you're eyes and attention back on the road. I'm right behind you and would really like to drive a consistent and posted speed limit.

They called and the girl announces herself as Heather. It is a recorded message asking to reduce my credit cards. Hell I do not even have active credit cards. I have them closed out under a money management program. They even called my mother-in-law 2 minutes later. She is 80 years old and has no credit debt, This is a scam.

Did not answer and they did not leave a message on my machine.

Called and hung up when machine answered. 12:14 pm on 2/17/2012

Even in good economic times these calls can be annoying, and in the times when so many Americans don't have jobs this looks like mockery...  If it's a scam it's especially sickening and FBI and/or FCC should investigate it....
